Opted for these instead of sun visor openers for versatility as I always carry my keys around. These paired somewhat perfectly. The issue I had was the coding was not set up correctly for each individual button (indicated by the led light), but the manual fortunately explains how to change it for your unit (hold both buttons and then press the button you want to pair the garage with and the led will change to indicate the codes it is currently using). You will know which codes your garage unit uses by looking at the learning button on your garage unit which will have a color on it usually. Other than that, set up is simple with pressing the learning button on your garage unit and then holding down the button you wish to pair the garage with until you hear your unit beep (you can pair two different garages if you wished). The range on this unit is excellent as I can open my garage from 5 houses down easily and the unit itself is small enough to not weigh down my key ring holder too much.

We needed to replace our previous remotes and wanted ones we could easily carry with us instead of the ones you typically leave in the car. These arrived in a decent time. They look fancy. They were very easy to set up and use. The buttons are working well and they were easy to set for the different doors. My only wish would be a little cover over the buttons so I don't accidentally open the doors when I set my keys down or go to hang them up (yes, this has happened a few times).

I have a keypad on the side of the house already and garage door openers in the cars, but I decided to grab these keychain versions for when I am working outside and need to open the garage, I can just do it from my pocket. So far these are working great! they reach from just about anywhere in my front yard, which is really all I need, and they are really quite small so I don't mind having them on my keychain. One thing I don't like is the use of fake plastic chrome around the outside, it has already scratched and chipped being in with a bunch of keys, but that doesn't affect its functionality Overall, for the price and functionality, these are recommended!

We have four drivers in our household, and only 2 of the garage door remote openers that came with our garage door opener. I recently had to replace one of those, so after ordering a 2-pack of the kind that stay on a car sun visor, we had a total of three working garage door remotes. With having only a two-car garage, but four cars, we have no choice but to park two cars in our driveway or on the street. Because of that, I worried that our son and my dad, both of whom park in the driveway, might accidentally forget and leave the traditional, sun visor type of garage door openers in their cars at night. It seems that each summer, our neighborhood has a rash of car break-ins, so leaving a garage door remote in a car could give a would-be burglar a means of accessing our home, which is terrifying. When I ran across these, I knew immediately that they'd be the perfect solution for my family...IF they would work with our garage door opener and if they were of good quality. My son is 18 years old and a typical teenager who occasionally loses stuff. My dad is 82 years old and a typical senior citizen who occasionally loses stuff. These keychain garage door remotes are PERFECT for them (as long as they leave them on their keychains...DAD! LOL) The remotes were super easy to program to my garage door opener. It helped that I already knew the color of the "learning button", which basically puts the opener in pairing mode. This remote is only compatible with garage door openers with learning button colors: yellow, purple, red, orange, and green. Be sure to confirm the color of your opener's learning button before purchasing, to save yourself the hassle of returning these if they aren't compatible with your opener. Once I pressed the button to put my garage door opener in learning/pairing mode, it paired with each of these remotes in about 3 seconds. It couldn't be any easier. Color me impressed!! I love these so much that I'm considering getting two more so my husband and I can have them, too. Including the round keyring part, this entire keychain remote is 3 1/2" long x 1" wide. Two batteries are included (one for each remote). The instructions are clear and super easy to understand. I couldn't be happier with these garage door opener remotes. They get four very strong thumbs up from my family.
