Opted for these instead of sun visor openers for versatility as I always carry my keys around. These paired somewhat perfectly. The issue I had was the coding was not set up correctly for each individual button (indicated by the led light), but the manual fortunately explains how to change it for your unit (hold both buttons and then press the button you want to pair the garage with and the led will change to indicate the codes it is currently using). You will know which codes your garage unit uses by looking at the learning button on your garage unit which will have a color on it usually. Other than that, set up is simple with pressing the learning button on your garage unit and then holding down the button you wish to pair the garage with until you hear your unit beep (you can pair two different garages if you wished). The range on this unit is excellent as I can open my garage from 5 houses down easily and the unit itself is small enough to not weigh down my key ring holder too much.

Includes concise instructions for several different popular models. With just a few steps, I was able to get it to talk to my older Genie Pro Max in the shop. It makes the light blink like my existing controller does, but the opener doesn't operate. Tried every model mode it had, but the one for mine is the only one that connected. I assume that's the fault of old opener, because I tried it again on our other one, a newer Genie SilentMax 1000 Revolution in our garage, and it works perfectly. Plus you get three buttons per each of two controllers. I'd say try it, it'll probably work, and if it doesn't, returns are easy.
