These controllers came relatively quick. They set up very fast. Took more time to move the car out of the way they work great and now I have two spares. I'd recommend them to anybody. Make sure that you check that your opener is for your garage door.

These remotes are getting harder to come by, since our openers are from 1997. Great price point for the three components, and they all come with batteries installed. They look identical to our originals, they just don't say "Craftsman" on them. The remote in my vehicle started getting fussy, even with new batteries and re-programming...that is until I placed the order for these new ones. Go figure! It took all of 30 seconds to do the pairing with our opener, and now it works like new, first time, every time. One thing to note, write down the number on the back of your old one. IMPORTANT NOTE; The new ones don't have the ID sticker on the back, and you may need it at a later time to get the right frequency remotes compatible with your opener. ... show more

Not even a professional GDO man could get them to work. Worst product I ever have gotten. I am thinking that Amazon needs to do a hell of a lot better in selecting its vendors. I am not sending them back since they will be re-boxed and shipped again as new. I have had sever of those lately.

Literally took less than 5min to program to older Craftsman opener. Press the RED button (on my opener), press larger button on remote, light flashed in about 3-4 seconds, done.

For some reason we can't pair the hand remotes and the outside remote to work at the same time. When pairing the outside cancels out the handheld ones.
