Does it heat? Yes, will it boil a pot of water? I gave up on that after waiting 10 mins. It is trying to use 120v to create enough heat, and it just struggles. I'd recommend using it as a warmer, or to reheat things, but not for boiling water. Should be fine in a camper, but have an electric kettle for heating water.
