I bought the vinyl to wrap a Guitar for a project and it looks awesome. You must take your time and clean the surface extremely well. I haven't actually finished installing it on my guitar yet so I'm going to see what a little heat does to get around the tight radii on parts of the guitar. I cant mention enough times to clean the surface very well and take your time. No one is a pro with using vinyl the first time, so try some test pieces first. ... show more

The wrap I got looks like it was processed on the wrong side. The sticky part was exactly the color shown, but the part that is actually visible when you apply it is very dark, almost black, and pretty matte. It’s like they applied the glue in the wrong side. The vinyl itself seems to be good quality, hence the 3 stars. UPDATE: I was contacted by the seller offering a full refund just based on this review, which mean someone is paying close attention and I think that's fantastic customer service.     • Awesome wrap in the sun

I did a full body wrap on my dodge challenger in this color, and the color shift is amazing. It is very hard to tell what the color of the car is at any given time when the sun is out, however when it is not sunny it just looks black. Originally I loved that about it but now I am getting a little bored of it. But don’t let that steer you away from this wrap if you live in an area that gets tons of sun. I live in the northeast and sun is a luxury we get only 3-5 months out of the year, thus I am going to re-wrap my car in a new color, probably ultra gloss candy apple red. That being said vivid is a great company and the adhesion is great on this I’m not sure what other reviewers were mentioning but prep the surface well and it sticks that all that matters. Other then that it’s durable and the suggested life is around 5 years according to vivid, mine has been on for around a year now and everything is still perfect. I do recommend a vinyl specific ceramic coating to go on top to increase your lifespan. But regardless it’s a very good wrap and if it can wrap the corners which are a 9/10 difficulty on a challenger bumper then it can handle pretty much any other car. Overall it’s ok depending on intended use. But this vinyl is thicker and a bit more stiff than expected. I had a tough time getting it to conform to even subtle contours without heat. Adhesion is fair. It cuts well. I really like the color. Sadly this matte color scratches very easily. Also fingerprint are extremely obvious. I’ve had much better performance with different brands of matte vinyl. I know I’ve mostly listed cons and don’t have many positive things to say about this product. But it’s cheap. So I expected it would have some poor qualities. I find this more as an arts and crafts style vinyl than a professional product. I definitely wouldn’t try wrapping my car or even interior car parts with this product. Maybe signage or graphic decals. One great thing about this vinyl is the texture on the back helps to release any air bubbles. And that part works well. To be honest I feel like I just got an old batch. ... show more

It doesn't have any red, or reflect light the way it is shown in the images. It looks brownish. It looks like it has glitter, rather than a metallic finish. Have not tested/used the product, as it doesn't look good.
