Installed this on my civic to get rid of the big old ugly air box. The install was extremely easy hardest parts was taking the old air box out but if you have any mechanical experience it’ll be a breeze. The overall quality is cheap but for $67 it does the job. The car definitely has a noticeable intake sound to it now especially at higher rpms. I hate the air filter they provided so I went ahead and ordered another mushroom air filter off eBay just to set off the look of everything. Overall if you don’t wanna spend $200-300 for a name brand cold air intake this is the way to go, it’s cheap but gets the job done, and who knows maybe it gives you a bit extra power but I highly doubt it lol. ... show more

Easy to install and looks good. The bolts on my regular intake were rusted out so I couldnt change the air filter. This solved that problem. Extra power and gas mileage is just a bonus.

As mentioned in a few other reviews. This kit comes with no instructions as to what all the parts are for. Also the mount at the end of the intake does not line up with the factory mounting point. I had to rig up my own bracket to support it. Quality is definitely reflected in the price of this intake. Don't waste your money on this if you're looking for good quality. I do not trust the filter on this thing either, will probably replace with a brand name filter. I will only keep it because my stock one had a crack in it and a stock replacement is $430. ... show more

Starting off i’d like to say i know it’s cheap and i was expecting it to appear that way, but NOT this bad at all. I’m sure the good reviews for this are true, but i’m just giving my experience. Firstly, all the holes that were drilled out had remaining metal fragments that could have easily been sucked into the engine if i had not seen them. Second, the MAF sensor hole was drilled way too big, and didn’t come with a rubber grommet for it to fit in. Third, the bracket that was welded on did not line up with the mounting point. It doesn’t come with ANY mounting hardware whatsoever. It relies on you to use the bolt from your old air filter or resonator, which i’m sure would be fine, but there’s better ways of going about it. They could have thrown in a double sided screw mount or something. Lastly, it comes with two pieces of metal that i’m sure are for mounting if it doesn’t line up, but again, there’s no mounting hardware, and i could make any sense of what was included. It also came with that rubber cap that i can’t figure out where that would even go. In conclusion, the build quality was absolutely terrible and it wouldn’t have mounted correctly at all. Gotta say for only $60 or so, this is a great value compared to the K&N brand which runs over $200! The only reason this will not get 5 stars is because it comes with zero instructions, and it does not fit perfectly. The brackets don’t line up right. I’m ok with it. Once I found where I wanted it, I tightened it all up and it will get the job done. Going forward, I may just buy a K&N air filter to replace this one it came with, I have no idea how it will hold up or if it is washable like the K&N ones are… ... show more
