Set this up the first time in under a minute and was genuinely impressed. The hydraulic frame does most of the work — expand the legs, lock the top, and it pops open clean. Adding the rainfly and staking it down only takes another couple minutes. I’m using it for car-camping and weekend trips. Plenty of room for two adults with gear, and the dual doors + mesh windows keep airflow good without letting bugs in. The 210D fabric with taped seams held up fine through a couple of rainy nights with no leaks. Rainfly is also useful on its own as a quick sun shade. Not ultralight (about 7.5–8 lbs), so I wouldn’t backpack far with it, but for drive-up camping or festivals it’s excellent. Comes with stakes, guy lines, and a decent carry bag. For the price, this is one of the better instant tents I’ve tried. Easy, reliable, and no drama.

Was skeptical about this tent but I pulled the trigger and bought it anyway. The unique "10 second" set up was more like 1 minute but it worked! Being new and stuffed in the bag it came in, setting up the tent was self explanatory. Unfold the tent legs outwards (as explained in the instructions) and grasp the top of the tent and pull upwards. The mechanism was kinda stiff at first but I eventually got it to lock into place. Hard to explain but once the tent is erected and in the locked position? You've got a tent that is ready for whatever. Compared to other tents still being put together by disgruntled folks. The interior space is decent. The plastic welds looked good although I haven't "test riden" yet. I will see sometime this summer. This tent is a "go to" tent for my motorcycle trips. My regular tent is considerably heavier and bulkier (4-5 person) and kind of a hassle to erect being"old fashion-old school" type tent. This newer tent will work much better than my other tent and is also lighter, easier/faster to set up and tear down.

Fast, easy, price-appropriate. I really like this tent, even if it isn't meant to be a long-lived product. I should get several years out of it, if I'm careful. Two problems: The screen is on the inside, and the door/window panel is on the outside. If you want to adjust for privacy, you have to unzip the bug screen first to reach the privacy panel. It should be the other way around, where the bug screen is on the outside, and you can adjust the privacy panel from the inside. Also, where the seams didn't match on one side, the stitcher just lapped one side to make the two lengths fit together. This looks cheap and lazy and bad engineering, plus it provides a hole big enough to insert your entire finger.

I bought this to use on our scout campouts. It's really easy to set up. I'd say it will fit 2 people just fine, but you won't have much space for any extras. However, for my single use it was perfect. I can fit my sleeping mat and all my gear in with plenty of space. As for rain, it did rain our first night. The tent remained completely dry inside. The only slight complaint I would have is the outside layer around the zippers. It would be nice to have the outside layer roll up if you want ventilation in the tent rather than the zipper opening at the bottom, and you rolling it from the bottom. I'm not sure how this will hold up over time, but I'm impressed with how quick it is to set up and take down. I'll be using it monthly, so I'm hoping for a good lifespan on the tent. Update: Used this for another camp out, and I had to take a few stars off. We had a quick storm pass through with high winds. Half the tent blew down, and rain got in soaking my gear. Needless to say this won't hold up well if you are going to have heavy rain. I'll need to find something else for bad weather, but I still like how easy this is to put up and take down on nights when you don't expect rain.

Easy set-up, even without instructions. I DO, however, recommend reading the instructions first as it arrives ready to pop, and if you start unfolding it any-which-way you will have a harder time than you otherwise might. You can have this up and down in seconds flat, easy to store, small and well made. Not heavy-duty enough to withstand Base Camp winds, but if you are looking for some shade in the park or quick, easy, lightweight camping, this is a great tent. Have not tried it in the rain yet.

When I first set it up, it seemed great! Pops up with ease, right size, reasonably quality material. But it just doesn’t work. The poles are supposed to lock at the joints, but they only loosely stay together, and any movement in or around the tent can cause it to collapse. I foolishly took it camping without properly testing it, and it fell on top of us ALL NIGHT. Eventually we had to reinforce it with duct tape and sticks we found on the ground. And then the raccoons came… Wish I returned it when I had the chance, do not buy except maybe for children as a toy
