used these to replace fluorescent lights in my waxing studio, they were cheap and they are super bright, and I love that they can change shades. If you are looking for something simple that gets the job done and is bright this is the way to go.

However mounting is unconventional, The light fixture has four mounting holes that screw straight through the Fixture and into the Ceiling (hope your ceilings not Dry Wall), very un conventional (foreign made). Exspect to spend time securing this Fixture to the Ceiling. However, LED Fixture funtions well, very bright and even light through out it's 1ft.X4ft. low profile frame. ... show more

JUNK. we get what we pay for. They are 1/2 the price of "real" ones., but junk. Lightweight is a euphemism for flimsy. They are bright and they are the correct size - ish. I couldn't wait to finish installing the second one to go inside and write a review (at that point I was too far in to take the first one down and return them) 1: The main thing is if you care what it looks like, well that and ease of install. Because the hardware is cheap it breaks and because the mounting holes are too close to the outside edge, you can, well I couldn't, install without some ragged edge of drywall hole on either side, and I kinda know what I'm doing. 2: the plastic anchors broke when I started to screw into them, had to drill or poke that out then drill a bigger hole for the molly-route of installing. 3: no recess at all on the back so if your wires aren't going fully in the box you just jam it. 4: the plastic sheet over the LEDS is so thin you can see that there are clusters of lights and it makes it look like the plastic has warped. I bought a similar one at Costco last year and am very pleased, actual styling and easy install. I would return these but they're in the garage and I'll repaint the ceiling eventually.     • Very cheap built and poor overall design!

These lights are not built with US standards. The electrical connections are not designed to be installed in electrical boxes which is a big safety concern. The mounting holes are located 1/16" from the edge of the fixture which mean that no matter how precise your holes are you will very likely see the plastic screw or the whole for the toggle bolt when the fixture is installed. In addition, one of the fixtures came damaged in the corner. There is a reason these are half the price from a legitimate brand like Sylvania or Lithonia. I installed them in a garage where the damage is not too noticeable otherwise I would have returned them. ... show more
