Echoing a few other reviews - I loved the look, saw great ratings, but didn't quite fully think through how this would be a slip over-the-head harness. Measured correctly for my cats neck and wasn't able to get it over her head (she was surprisingly ok with my attempts but I didn't want to push it being still new to harness training). Even if I had been able to get on, you'd then have to tighten neck straps further every single time (and loosening before removing) to ensure the cat couldn't "back out". If your cat is already harness trained otherwise great quality and very adjustable but I returned and traded for a similar looking one but that has clips on both the neck and chest making it much easier to put on, and my cat seems to be accepting it well. ... show more

The harness is good and seems comfortable and is adjustable, does come with a leash too, also has a little bit of reflective lining on it. although it’s just a tiny bit too big for my kitten. She is about two and a half months right now almost three. Tried to adjust it to fit tighter and more comfortably on her but you can only adjust it so much. It fits her still but not as snug Eventually she will grow into it better and it will be fine and that’s the only issue I had with it it came super fast within the next day of me placing the order and it’s still super cute. ... show more

Have been looking for a harness that would work for our Flemish Giant doe. This one is a little tricky to put on because it has to slip over her dewlap and ears but once on, it’s fantastic! She does not seem to mind it one bit. The straps are adjustable and it seems soft. She is secure in the harness and can’t back out of it even when it’s loose for more comfort. The only suggestion for improvement would be to have the front clip like the back does. The harness fits well with her large dewlap flap and she has a normal range of motion in it. My cats didn't exhibit the typical splayed motion of all the other harnesses we have purchased in the past. Light weight, comfortable for them. We live in a very rural area where small animals might become dinner for the local wildlife if let go off of a leash after dark. They are able to get their business done outside after dark and and safely returned indoors. It might take some time for some cats to get use to it...but worth the freedom of movement in the end. If you are someone who isn't willing to stay outside with your cat to keep him or her protected in adverse weather conditions..you might want to consider a litter box. But our girls have never used one and we aren't willing to start now. The look forward to their nightly outings after dark. ... show more

I have a 9 pound dog with a very long neck. I have purchased at least 5 other harnesses for her but they just never fit right and she kept pulling out of them. Thought I'd give the cat harness a try and it's PERFECT!! It fits her nicely and she can't get out of it.

My cats have been getting used to traveling in the car a lot and we have tried a few different harnesses. This was the first harness that they don't seem to mind. The only thing is that the adjusters don't stay in place if they pull at it.

This harness, while fairly secure when fitted and adjusted correctly, is not the easiest to get your cat to accept. My biggest issue is the over-the-head process to get him into it; he just does not like that process (including getting it back off!). The rest is good - the buckles for the chest are not a big issue, and the fit is good and firm so I feel he is rather secure once he is in it. At first, my cat moved very slowly, like he was on the moon, until he got used to the harness. I wish this harness had at least 1 quick-release buckle for the neck to avoid having to get it over his head to put on/off. My cat is very accommodating so this resisting is not a common behavior for him, it is just when hr had to get his harness out on or taken off. ... show more

My Kitty loves her harness. She was trained to wear a harness when young while outside. We let her go out by herself until a couple of years ago when coyotes and bears took over our property. I bought this harness because it looked comfortable and I knew Kitty would love it. The first time I put it on her, she held real still and accepted the harness right away. She headed for the door and went outside with me holding the lead strap. She loves to smell around, lay in the fallen leaves, and eat certain grasses. When she smells the air to test the scent of any coyotes or bears in the immediate area, Kitty will start walking towards the steps. We both love the cat harness and lead. ... show more
