I had an issue with not being able to format the hard drive and it would not record but after contacting Johnny@hiseeu.com and love@hiseeu.com they sent a new hard drive and it is now working. I did not check it out properly when I first received it and that is my fault so I did not know until recently that it had never been recording. This is an upgrade for me as I have an older version and still use it also. Support means everything to me and other customers and although I had an issue getting a response this time (took a couple weeks) once they realized they had not responded they made it right and that is all I ask. ... show more

Works almost perfect, a couple things need to be fixed, one of the solar panels is not working, I can't keep charging the camera, I need to get a new solar panel for this one, the sound would also like to update it with a little bit big sound and more strong. The monitor needs to be updated to have a single battery like iPad, so you can move from one place to another in the house, everything else fine. ... show more

I was very hopeful for this camera but the technical difficulties I encountered with the APP and veiwing my camera remotely was ridiculous. Through the app there is no customer service I can connect with. I had to come to Amazon to write the seller to get a response. It took 2 weeks of back and forth without any resolutions to my issue. I finally gave up. Share Qr code generated to have the devices shared with family often comes up invalid. Whenever I reached out to support they keep telling me the same thing over and over even when I have sent several sceenshots and sceen recordings of what's the issue. It's like there tech team is non-existent. I couldn't create an account using my phone number since the pre listed country code they have on the APP was incorrect, I was told this cannot be fixed until the APP is upgraded. Total bs. Finally I just gave up and let it be. Spending about 400 bucks on a camera it should be smooth sailing. There are cheaper cameras that does a far better job. Pros: From the monitor the quality of video is excellent. * the camera holds great with the solar charging. Cons: APP is trash. * no remote viewing. *no customer service through the app * incorrect information *invalid qr codes ... show more

I really really love how far security cameras have come in all these years, amd this unit is sooo excellent. First off, I hate that most companies like ring expect a monthly subscription. It's not bad, just a extra cost. This unit requires your own internet using the 2.4ghz range for wifi, and I ran them to locked electrical outlets and wire tucked each wire through metal pipes and behind frames. I have 2 of these hiseeu 5mp wifi, plugged in ptz camera setups in 2 different properties that I own. Its been such a help in managing my places and I've been able to enjoy watching both wildlife and those who pass by. In my rental property I cam monitor what goes on and how garbage is thrown out. I can use the mic from the app over 15 miles away to speak through the camera. It picks up great quality videos and sound, and you can even move the position through the app. You can set up multiple camera systems or networks through the app, so you have one place to look through. This is handy if you have different areas or homes that you surveillance. Granted it is absolutely important to have good wifi connection. I had one instance where I was not getting video playback from the recording, it turned out that the hard drive was glitching and Hiseeu was super quick to send me a replacement hdd and It got fixed instantly. I ended up returning the security cameras strictly because of the speakers, I consider keeping them because the picture was so good but I paid for the feature of two way speakers and ended up not being able to have a conversation at all. ... show more

Easy enough to install and get going. Make sure you have access to direct sunlight at least part of the day. Mine are in different locations facing different ways, but have never dipped to less than maybe 80% on a rainy day. We dig the screen as well, but wish it was touchscreen.
