Well if you are really good at puzzles you can put this together easily, if not, you might be spending some time messing around like I did! Unfortunately, the instructions are very basic, and although it doesn't say this, it does matter which #1 pieces go where. For example, take a close look at the end pieces that go into the 4 corner pieces. If they don't line up perfectly, then you have to find the correct orientation and keep swapping the pieces around. For about an hour, I thought that the pieces were just "not fitting right", I even took to shaving about 0.5cm off of two pieces because I thought they were just slightly off. But I was wrong! Once I got to the end of the build and the slats weren't lining up I realized my error! So I ruined my side pieces for no reason:( My advice would be to lay out the middle slat bar, and put the slats in. Then compare it to the side rails. This will help you determine the proper orientation of the side rails! I really wish I would have erred on the side of "figuring out the puzzle" instead of cutting some of it off. If the directions were better I wouldn't have had that problem! In any case, after it was built it looked nice. But 10/10 this was frustrating. ... show more

This bed frame is frame is exactly what we needed. We recently upgraded our mattress to a hybrid that does not need a box spring. So we wanted a frame that would support it well. This frame was easy to assemble. It looks nice. Theres a decent amount of space underneath for storage. The wood frame is quiet and feels sturdy and supportive. I like the design of the bed, came in a small footprint when put together it's surprisingly sturdy; the only complaint is the slats need to be one inch apart so your mattress doesn't sink. If the slats is 1" apart it would be a perfect design.
