I’m a science teacher, and we borrowed this incubator for our life cycle unit. The fully transparent lid is a game - changer – students can watch the entire process without ever opening the unit and disturbing the conditions. And the built -in egg candler? We used it on day 7 and day 14 to check embryo development and remove a couple of infertile eggs early. The kids were fascinated. It’s easy to explain the science when the equipment is so intuitive. I’ve never incubated eggs before. My dad let me use his new incubator to try hatching some chicken eggs from our backyard flock. I was nervous about messing up the settings, but the LED display makes it obvious: temperature, humidity, days. The air vent markings are clear. I set the auto – turner and basically didn’t touch it for 16 days. The external water bottles meant I only added water twice total (and the instructions told me exactly when). We got 8 healthy chicks out of 12 eggs on my very first try. I’m not an expert – this machine just does the work for you. If a beginner like me can succeed, anyone can.
