I have become interested in building a small pinball table and ordered this just to see how some of these smaller toy machines worked/played. I am happy to report this game is flat out GREAT. I am frankly amazed at how much fun this is to play for a relatively low priced toy. When it comes out of the box, you put 3 AA batteries in the back. You also get a sheet of stickers that you put on yourself. Care is required adding these at they STICK on contact and I mean 'right Now'. You could easily decide not to bother with the stickers, the machine is reasonably attractive with them or without. There is a ON button to turn the game on and a RESET button to start a game. There are bright lights on both sides and it plays perky tunes that all give it a much enhanced arcade pinball game feel. When a game is going, there is a whirring motor noise. None of this bothers me but this is not a quiet toy. One thing that makes this game stand out from the competition is it has active components. I was surprised how perky the pop bumpers and plastic sling shots are. There are also gates at the top that actually score. I gave this item as a gift to an 8-year-old. For the few hours I watched him interact with it, he seemed to enjoy it very much. It was easy to set up (AA batteries NOT included), and it worked well. Since the recipient took it home with him, I can’t comment on its durability.

This game is awesome!!! I read the mixed reviews, but for the price, I had no problem giving it a try, and I'm so glad I did!! As soon as it arrived, I couldn't stop playing it! I bought it for our home bar, and it's a hit with all our adult friends! It does have a strange motor noise when the game is in play; however, after a few minutes, I no longer notice it. The ball gets stuck once in a while, but so does a real pinball machine, and a slight tilt will dislodge it. Great buy!! ... show more

This electronic pinball game is awesome and packed with vibrating bumpers, a colorful light display, and exciting sound effects. Assembly is straightforward with only a set of four legs being attached to the base of the machine and a handful of stickers being applied. The instructions do a great job of explaining the assembly process with diagrams and a basic explanation of how to play. The stickers were a bit of pain to line up with a few tearing easily when I needed to reapply them. The game features two sets of LED lights with a variety of colors on the sides that light up and flash during gameplay. The pinball machine is well designed with stickers, background, and a color scheme with red, white, and blue artwork resembling American patriotism. The machine is also durable made from a solid plastic with a clear display window. The game counts down from five before the game starts. The ball is then released and then launched. The launch mechanism works great and launches the ball right into the action. The bumpers vibrate sending the ball flying all over the board. The flippers are quite responsive as well. Unfortunately, there were times when the ball would keep getting stuck within some of the bumpers, requiring me to shake the machine to continue playing. The score displays on an LED scoreboard with the high score being stored in the game's memory. I found the combination of the bumpers vibrating, lights flashing a variety of colors, and the exciting sounds/music to make for an incredibly fun time.
