Description

Our Northern friends have asked for more added support against the snow, and we listened. Here’s our Solution, the ULTIMATE PONTOON BOAT CANVAS SOLUTION. This Solution package contains the necessary components to construct an all season, easy-to-assemble and remove pontoon dome for your pontoon boat. The patent-pending Arch-Makers with a 3″ rise are solid aluminum and designed to slide on the pontoon rails without nuts, bolts, screws, or glue. Easy on, easy off. The dome, once constructed, will hold all the components securely in place. The 3/4″ Schedule 40 PVC pipes (NOT INCLUDED IN THE KIT) will be strategically cut and connected with the SOLID Aluminum 5-way Connector Solution, forming the arches, together forming the dome. As the arches are connected together to form the dome, the dome is further strengthened by the supporting legs under each arch. Within days, the PVC pipes will hold the shape that forms the arch, making it easy to reconstruct the dome when needed. This allows for quick reassembling of the Ultimate Pontoon Boat Canvas Solution any time of the year with less time to adjust the canvas. Simply slide your canvas over the dome and pull it forward. A simple solution to an age-old problem.LIMITED LIFETIME REPLACEMENT WARRANTY against manufacturer defects. If you’re questioning what size rise you need for your pontoon boat, check out the picture diagram above.FOR STORAGE ONLY – NOT TO BE USED WHILE TRAILERING! • Quality Control
For the cost of this kit, I expected a little better quality. I wonder what a local fabricator would charge... I will update on functionality once installed.

  • Awesome Cover Support! Read full review for the lessons I learned.
This is my third, and most expensive attempt at a cover support for my 20' pontoon. So far I LOVE it. It has held up to several Florida afternoon thunderstorms with no issues. Cover Support Attempt 1 - was 4 support poles with the padded feet and tops. The poles held up the middle, but I would get large amounts of pooling water in the corners. Cover Support Attempt 2 - was the Overton’s Pontoon Boat Cover Support with two padded support poles and nylon straps to form a ridge and going to each corner. It worked ok, better than the poles, but still would hold water in the middle at the bow and stern between the corner straps. It was also a super p.i.t.a. to put on. Cover Support Attempt 2.5 & 3- The Pontoon Boat Solutions aluminum “arch-maker” kit with the pvc 4 & 5 way connectors. You will immediately snap pvc connectors just like the direction say not to. I saw enough promise to invest another $80 into buying the aluminum 'T' and cross connectors. Usability Improvement 1) Buy 8ea of the 9" Wrap-It Storage velcro cord organizers. You will use these to strap/hold the aluminum upright to the pontoon rail. Picture attached. You may need more on a longer boat. Usability Improvement 2) Buy 3 ea 41” epdm/rubber bungee cords. You will use these to hold your 4 “arch-maker”-hoops in tension to other. This keeps them from pulling apart as you muscle the cover around. Picture attached. You may need more on a longer boat. Usability Improvement 3) Buy a 4 pack (or more) of colored electric tape to color code your pieces to make reassembly mindless. Make sure you have a pvc pipe cutter. It took a lot of cut fitting to get everything right. Try and make everything the same length. All of my side “arch-maker” pieces (except the most aft) and my ridge support pieces are the same length. The most aft supports rest on the bimini frame. My bimini frame is 1-1/4” tube so it worked out. Start at the back of the boat, and work forward in 48”’ish increments. I wanted all of my ridge pieces to be the same (mine ended up all 4’) so I had to adjust slightly where my first/most aft set of “arch-maker”- hoop supports would go. Then everything forward had to land and miss seats, rods holders, ect. ... show more
