I ordered this as a starting place for exploring how I might connect my rain barrels to a drip irrigation system for my two large gardens. The kit comes with 164 ft of line and a variety of connectors. I immediately started finding all kinds of extra uses for the drip line that I never considered. They connect to the nearly useless watering bags with a single outspout that I accidentally ordered...ohh look, now I have drip irrigation watering bags... Back to the original plan however, connected to the solar fountain pump that I also ordered, I suddenly had a solar powered rain barrel drip irrigation system. The drip connections all seem to work well and have rotating control for managing the water output. I appreciate the hose connectors that let me prime the system for the rain barrel to run. I'm still in the process of setting things up but so far Im very happy with the amount and variety of connections provided.

I have an “L” shaped vegetable garden that is 40 feet long by 4 feet wide. Because of the shape I had to move the sprinkler several times to water the entire garden. I was hoping to use the system to make watering easier. Everything went together fairly easily, and it only took me a couple of hours to get everything laid out the way I wanted. Initially I laid everything out in one long line, using Drippers off the main line, however, due to the constraints of the quarter inch tube, the water did not reach the end drippers. I then laid it out using two lines, and was able to get some water to the drippers at the end. All of the pieces are well made and everything went together without any problems or leaks. I gave this four stars only because the water flow is too limited by the narrow tube in a garden as long as mine. Next year I will lay it out differently, with the water line coming in at the middle of the garden so each run will be 20 feet. I think that will improve the flow at the end.

This drip irrigation kit is exactly as described. The connectors fit very snugly onto the appropriate tubing, there is a little bit of a learning curve with getting the attachments snug, but with practice it gets much easier. One trick is to warm the end of the tubing before putting it on, that way when it cools and contracts, it will fit down tight.

I was excited to get this kit and set up my patio garden watering system, but this was a bit baffling for a newbie to these systems. There aren't any instructions, so I had to figure out what hooked up where and realized that this system is meant for both 1/4" tubing as well as 1/2". There are adaptors for everything, so I got that sorted out. But the oddest thing was the little sprinkler heads. They don't pop onto the plastic tees. You have to connect a piece of tubing to the tee, then put the sprinkler in the tubing. Plus, these tees are not the nice click to connect types, so you have to work each piece of tubing over the nipples. The first few flew off when I turned the water on. I decided all this was more trouble than it was worth and ended up using leftover heads and tees from another project instead. The only parts of this that I used was the hose connector and the little stakes to hold down the tubing. I would have given this two stars, but it did show how the connectors worked, so I should have read the description better. Having said that, it makes no sense to me to have to connect the tees to the sprinker heads with a piece of the tubing, so I'm giving it three stars.

This is a great kit that has everything in it that is needed for a drip line! We mapped out how we wanted it and where we needed the water. It went together easily and was perfect for our needs. I would recommend this kit.

The above-ground irrigation kit allows me to have the convenience of a professionally installed in-ground system at only a fraction of the cost (and without the headache of the installation *after* the garden is already established). It is worth taking the time to carefully map out the irrigation/tubing hose route, then identifying the appropriate spray/drip settings for the various plants and trees, but once installation and settings have been completed, this is such a time-saver. Truly everything you need for your yard irrigation project is included in this kit. because of the size of my yard, I did have to purchase additional 1/4" tubing, but this is something you want to keep on hand anyway, for future repairs, so as not to disrupt your watering schedule. Any replacement or additional pieces you would need in conjunction with this kit is fairly inexpensive and conveniently available on Amazon. Great solution for the budget-minded DIY-ers!

Alright I tinkered with this for a while. There are 2 sprayers, one connects directly to a Tee, there are 16 of them. The other connects to the hose directly. To start the stakes will put the sprayers facing sideways not vertical. So half in the dirt rest in your palnts. The hose type sprays like a fan, the Tee type sprays a mist style. So the next issue is the hose will not stay in the stake where the hose it meant to lock in, they just pop out and with water in it, it is worse. So now you need to tie them with somethiung not included. Next is whether you heat the hose or not, the hose justs pops of the tee's and sprayers. I made a chain of 20, low water pressure, all sprayers on and this kept repeating. So now you have to go find which one popped off. Now you need a tie to keep the hose on too.Long story short this is a horrible product, I put alot of time in it and just had terrible results. Very dissappointting. I had high hopes for this.. I cannot recommend it at all.

The media could not be loaded. The tubing material is very thin and flexible. So with it being black the sun heats it up and it stretches, then everything leaks and the connections separate. It also kinks very easily. (You can see my the attached video just how thin/flexible it is- that was recorded in 72° F temperature). If you live in a warmer climate you likely will need to purchase and utilize zip ties on all the connections to try and make this work.
