Just wow. I am blown away by the quality of these knives. They come packaged beautifully, and are stored in a gorgeous solid block, which is weighty and looks so substantial. The steel is really solid, very sharp, and the knives are easy to hold and to use. I have previously been a dishwasher and then sharpen type of knife user, but I think I am going to have to respect these properly, they are like little works of art. I was not familiar with this brand, but I really like the look of them, and the value for the cost is crazy good, with the steak knife set (and a sharpener, although I never got the hang of those so I use an electric one, which I'm sure is bad) and every knife a home chef would generally need to use. I briefly considered hanging on to this to give it as a gift to my MIL, but I might just have to buy her her own because this set is staying right in my kitchen. They work great, are easy for me to hold and use, feel well-balanced, and I am very happy with them.

This is an excellent value. This is replacing an older set of a German brand that we have owned for years. I've over the years lost a couple of the knives and it was time. I was going to reorder the other brand but I love the idea of not having super sharp steak knives in my knife drawer. This keeps my steak knifes handy and separate. Couple of things you will want to know: Sharpness... These knives are super sharp. I merely touched one blade to the palm of my hand when removing the protective plastic and it nicked me... Wicked sharp comes to mind. It also comes with a handy steel which should greatly increase the time between necessary sharpenings. Excellent balance to the knives... especially the heavier chefs specific knife. This set is an excellent value. In fact, I really don't understand how they can use this steel. Put it in this hardwood block. Include six excellent steak knives for this price point. I've paid this price for just six steak knives. You won't be disappointed!

This knife set was a nice upgrade for me... I had a really old set that I don't even remember where I got that from. So this really brings a very modern look to your counter. The knives themselves are feeling liks very high quality with razor sharp edges.... I like the shapner tool being included, means you will always have sharp knives... I can see these lasting a long time. Nice taper on the edge... looks sleek. Pretty beautiful craftsmanship and for sure a top shelf set. I would recommend this to any newlyweds or people moving into a new apartment. Or just the ppl like me who cant remember where they got their old knife set from!

In my opinion, and I cook a lot, these could be sharper, but that’s to my liking. I do like the variety of knives that you get as well as the look. The handle size and grip is decent. I do feel they’re pricey.. as I have a set that is actually a Japanese style that is very sharp compared to these. I always hand wash my knives no matter what unless they’re cheap. I do feel like this is a great housewarming gift or wedding present.

This knife set is complete for kitchen use. They are sharp, use good quality metals and handle material. Finely crafted. The block is actually a real, not cheap, great block of finished wood and holds every piece. Holes are drilled all the way through. Bottom of block has four tacked rubber feet. Even the box is made for gifting and has a build in carrying handle. This is a fine quality set — no need to buy anymore knives.

This cutlery set arrived only today & I was anxious to look it over. I am VERY impressed indeed. It came in a nice gift box which was a lot heavier than expected & it weighs around 15 pounds. Everything in this set appears to be of very good quality. The handles are all good and solid & easy to handle and very well made in every respect. In addition, all of the pieces are attractive to the eye & bespeak of high quality and attention to detail. Personally I like the laser etched Damascus design on the blades, even though they are only etched designs. The hallmarks too are a nice touch. The knife blades are razor sharp, & I do mean razor sharp! It also has that good hardwood block to keep things in order & it too is of good quality and well crafted. I'm thrilled with it. and I believe it is well worth the admittedly high cost. This is a premium set of cutlery IMHO & it contains all of the items that will normally be required in a kitchen. Given the high quality I believe that is a good value for the dollar. It fully deserves 5 stars so far as I can se & it would make a stunning gift for your favorite chef.

This knife set is fantastic! The blades are super sharp and feel solid in your hand, making prep work so much easier. The block looks great on the counter and keeps everything organized. One thing to note, the block is a little tall and tight, so if you have standard cabinet heights and it’s pushed to the back of the counter, it can be tricky to pull the knives out. Still, the quality and value are outstanding, highly recommend!
