I bought this fan for our porch, and for the price I’m very happy with it. The biggest positive is the airflow. It pushes a surprising amount of air and does a great job keeping us comfortable outdoors. Assembly was quick and easy. Everything went together without any tools, and I had it up and running in just a few minutes. It’s also very lightweight, which makes it easy for my wife to move wherever we need it. The fan is somewhat top-heavy, but that hasn’t been an issue because the base is wide and stable. Once assembled, it feels secure and doesn’t seem prone to tipping over. To keep the weight and cost down, many of the components, including the blades, are plastic. It definitely isn’t a premium, heavy-duty fan, but that’s exactly what I expected at this price point. Despite the lightweight construction, it’s relatively quiet and performs well. One thing worth noting: when assembling the fan, make sure the small alignment peg on the rear fan housing is seated in the matching hole. If it’s not lined up correctly, the fan can vibrate and shimmy. Once assembled properly, ours runs smoothly. Overall, this is an affordable fan that delivers strong airflow, is easy to move around, and offers good value for the money. I have a fan I bought at Walmart last year for under $20 that puts out twice as much air. I just finished assembling this, really really disappointed in the quality of the parts, I'm sitting less than 4' from it with it on high and it's only intermittent with actually producing enough air that I feel more than a light brush of air. I'm scared to try letting it oscillate as I see a shake to it. My goal was to use it in the kitchen when I cook. I over heat easy, but the amount of air this thing gives my hand held rechargeable I bought from Shein for $3 puts out more air. Seriously, it has a little base I sit it in on my island by the refrigerator and I feel it over at my stove at a distance of double and a little more than I'm sitting from this piece of crap. I'll keep using it. Total piece of trash. I was going to give it two stars since at least it does put some air but as I'm sitting in front of it typing I'm becoming more upset my limited income I bought this junk and have no car to get to the post office to return it. I could have spent $10 more and got a brand I've always had good experiences with. It's almost completely plastic. The front grill is metal, the short part of the extension pole (5-6") is metal. The blades and everything else are thin cheap plastic. If you're on a fixed income, unless you just want any amount of air and can't, find a way to come up with another $10 and buy a different brand. You would get as much performance for cheaper with a cheap fan off Shein. I could cry I'm stuck with this. I wish I could give it -3 stars ... show more

This EZ-Chill 16-inch fan has been such a great little addition for whenever I need that extra bit of breeze in the house! It fits perfectly into smaller nooks without getting in the way, but it still packs enough punch with its 90-degree oscillation to comfortably cool down a much larger room. The three speed options and adjustable height make it super easy to customize the airflow right where you want it. The plastic base can feel a little lightweight if you move it around frequently, but considering how effectively and quietly it moves air, it's an awesome value for keeping any space comfortable! For 22.00 this is not a bad fan. One of the legs on mine is bent but still works so not that big of a deal. It is mostly cheap plastic but does work and does move alot of air on even the lowest setting. I thought about sending it back but for the price hopefully it will hopefully last for the summer. We have had expensive fans like this and they only lasted one season. I had trouble with the front of the cage and it is still not on correctly but I hope it stays on. The fan blades are a thin cheap plastic also. Anyway, I would probably not buy it again but I will give it a go for the price. ... show more

It was easy to assemble but it's not too sturdy. I was impressed with the amount of wind it produced on the low setting that I didn't bother to check to see how well medium and high worked. But when I finally did check them, I was disappointed. I couldn't feel the breeze from it when I was sitting directly in front of it. The top part with the fan, motor and controls doesn't tighten securely enough that it can start to lean a little bit. I am impressed with the noise level as I love to sleep with a fan and this provides an adequate amount of wind noise even on low. It has an oscillating feature which is helpful especially with this particular fan where trying to feel the breeze from it can be tasking. It's suitable for the price. ... show more

My son has to have a fan blowing on him to sleep. His fan had broken and needed replacement. The fan that he chose was very similar to others but I feel that this one was a little bit of a higher quality. The grates that cover the blades are metal, not a easily broken plastic. The fan has 3 speeds and it can be positioned to blow straight, up or down. The height is also adjustable. You can have the fan oscillating or not. The fan is sturdy and well built. The fan was delivered to my doorstep very quickly and in perfect working condition! All in all a great fan for a very reasonable price! ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: It looked like it had all I was looking for not too large, with 3 speeds and tilting feature. Wanted to put it in a bathroom to cool after showering. The box arrived with several lengths of tape on the top which I thought was a little odd but I did not consider it may have been someone else's return. I now believe it was. Over all 95% plastic, very light, unstable and boy oh boy does it ever rattle and make noise. The motor cover was twisted and did not seat right, hence the rattle. It smelled of hot plastic when it ran but I thought it's new yet. After a few runs it was unbearable inside so I put it in the garage to help vent the hot afternoon air from there. The rattle was not a factor while in the garage. Last evening when we went to turn it off the thing was smoking and the garage smelled horrible. Unplugged it and put it outside and to be cautious sprayed with extinguisher. It's now in the trash can. Wasted my money, don't waste yours. Went to Home Depot and got a nice one or only $7 more than this! Do not recommend this at all. Would give -10 stars if I could. ... show more
