So here's the thing ... We are not small people. My husband and I looked through a lot of options to find an inexpensive bed frame that we could put in the home away from home (for reasons too long to explain, he essentially has a house and I have a house but we see each other on the weekends). So anyhow, we need something that will stand the test in consideration of our weekly separation (read: it won't fall to pieces when the house is a-rockin). I bought two (2) of these for my grandchildren. The first one went together without a hitch. I took my time putting it together. I added a dab of blue locktite on each bolt to keep everything nice and tight to withstand the actions of my 5 and 6 year old grandkids. The second bed frame had one little hickup as they duplicated the uprights for the tailboard. Instead of one (1) "A" and one (1) "B" upright, I had two (2) "A" uprights. This wasn't a deal breaker or prevent one of my grandkids from sleeping in their new bed that night. I started a return and replace request for one bedframe that came in one day later. Once it arrived, I opened the new frame box, took out the "B" upright and traded it out with the already assembled bed frame. That took less than 5 minutes to make that change. Presto - Chango, life is good and the grandkids never noticed any difference. The bed frames are really nice, no sharpe corners, which was why I picked them and they are very sturdy. ... show more

I love this bedframe! One thing I love is how it’s up off the ground and I have all the extra storage underneath it. I bought a dust ruffle to put around it so that you can’t see what’s under my bed and it’s perfect. Not to mention it looks super cute.

I ordered this once and returned it for a new one and the new one had the exact same problem. The headboard and the footboard are both about 1" too big. You can put the frame together, but sans wood head/foot boards. Given the predrilled holes, I can't make a new hole to fit without cutting into the current one. Impossible to salvage. Will be returning a second time and getting a different bed. ... show more
