Features

  • Garage Door Threshold Seal with Sealant Included: This 16 ft garage door threshold seal comes with 2 x 10oz building sealant for floor-mounted installation. Designed to help seal the gap between the garage door bottom and concrete floor while reducing water, dust, leaves, and drafts.
  • Measure Before Ordering: The garage threshold seal strip measures 3.5 in wide, and 1/2 in high. It can be trimmed to fit smaller openings. Please measure your garage opening width and door clearance before purchase to ensure the 1/2 in height works for your door.
  • Helps Block Water and Debris: The floor-mounted garage threshold water barrier helps reduce wind-driven rain, snow, dust, leaves, and drafts from entering the garage when properly installed on a clean, dry concrete floor with the included sealant.
  • Durable EPDM Rubber with Serrated Base: Made from flexible EPDM rubber to withstand daily vehicle traffic and changing weather. The serrated groove base creates more bonding surface for sealant, helping the threshold stay in place after proper installation.
  • DIY-Friendly Installation: Clean and dry the concrete floor, test-fit the threshold, cut to length if needed, apply the included building sealant, press the strip into place, and allow it to cure. Best for smooth concrete floors; not recommended for asphalt, oily, wet, heavily coated, damaged, or very uneven surfaces.

Description

When properly installed with the included sealant, the threshold helps reduce water, wind-driven rain, snow, dust, leaves, and debris from entering through the garage door bottom gap. The grooved base increases the bonding surface between the threshold seal and adhesive, helping reduce shifting after proper installation on a clean, dry concrete floor. Made from flexible EPDM rubber, the garage door threshold seal is built to withstand daily vehicle traffic, changing weather, and temperature fluctuations. The seal can be trimmed to fit your garage opening. Clean and dry the floor, test-fit the threshold, apply the included adhesive, press firmly into place, and allow the adhesive to cure before driving over it.

  • Decent product and good value.
Color: Gray Size: 20 Feet
I bought this to supliment my existing garage door seal to prevent water introduction during heavy rains. Well as things go...no rain since the installation!! The instsll was very easy for me. Following the instructions to the tee. Very important to clean concrete before you install. This product has an inside and outside facing so be mindful of this. Also important is the pre-install marking. Lay out with the garage door down on the product...a warm day is best....align and mark the floor (i used a black sharpie). Then open the door and carefully mark the outside. Solid lines are best - not dash marks every foot or so. You then have 2 parallel lines about 41/2" apart. I used the black adhesive sealant provided ( 16' door used only 3/4 of one tube) but in retrospect I might suggest a big box equal in gray to match product color and concrete color. That said if you apply the sealant provided ...hold back at least 3/4" from your parallel lines and keep the thickest line of sealant in the center. I applied 2 parallel lines about 3/4" from the edge abd squiggly lines od sealant in-between. I rolled up the product after cutting it to size. Measure 3 times cut once!! Then slowly un-rolled it carefully keeping it aligned between my lines. Used my foot to press down firmly. Then closed the garage door (I did this several times when aligning...before sealant is applied) and made final adjustments when sealant was fresh. After that...left the garage door closed for 2 days. All this took about 30 minutes from start to finish. Very pleased so far. No visible light coming from underneath. Original garage door seal is still on the door too. So I believe the will mean no water and no critters. ... show more

  • for 17' garage door opening; cuts easy; need to buy proper outdoor adhesive
Color: Black Size: 20 Feet
Caulk included says not waterproof. Did not read further so "maybe" after cure its okay? I bought 20' length because most popular 16' products are not long enough for 17' wide door. Looks great, Fits, very flexible, installed fast, great price. 4-stars because the adhesive package says NOT WATERPROOF. Again, I did not read the fine print because I don't have a magnifier. So I will go buy a proper "Outdoor" adhesive ... show more

  • Good product, just make sure to prep the surface
Color: Black Size: 20 Feet
Excellent seal strip that works exactly as it should. The 20-foot length and 20oz glue gel are a great value. Just a warning for installation: the concrete needs to be edged or the glue won't work. Once it's prepped right, it holds well.

  • Easy install
Color: Gray Size: 20 Feet
Super easy to install! Just roll out to your dimensions needed and cut. It comes with two adhesive glue sticks- you just need a caulk gun. The adhesive is black so any spillage or leaking out of the sides you want to wipe up. My garage is gray painted cement flooring so I bought the gray strip to blend in. Cured quickly and I took a chance in 41 degree weather but it cured within 24 hours. It closed the gap I had from replacing my garage seal. My new seal was a rounded rubber where the old was a flat spongy flap. When I replaced it I saw this big gap due to my floor being slightly un-even. This strip worked perfect for closing the gap. Now mice, snow and rain won’t come in through the gap! Driving over it you don’t even feel it and it stays in place secure after the adhesive cures. ... show more

  • Better than my original seal
Color: Black Size: 12 Feet
I was a bit skeptical about buying this due to some negative reviews regrding the adhesive but I bought it anyway. Thank goodness I did. This is the best garage door bottom seal, better than my original. My original was a seal attached to an aluminum track bolted to the bottom of my door. I removed that track and seal and discarded it. I followed all the installation instructions and glued it down and lowered the garage door down and let the pressure of the door stay on it for 48 hours (ony 24 were actually needed). The adhesive took beautifully and the seal stuck fast. I have driven my car over it many times and it hasn't shifted one bit. Great product and simple to install. I even told my neighbor and he just ordered one for his door. Excellent product. The only problem I had was it was one end was coiled so tight in packaging and I had to put weight on the rubber to flatten it for a day before installation. ... show more

  • Stopped rain water from entering garage.

  • Easy to attach.
Color: Gray Size: 10 Feet
This was easy to cut which eliminated one potential headache. I didn't use this for a garage door. I used it for a tool shed door that gets water under the door and makes the small room very humid and causes tools to rust. I waited for a dry warm day to glue this down and now it's well stuck. I won't know until Fall when the rainy season starts is if keeps the water out. I'm hoping for the best. ... show more
