Another quality roll from Overture

I have a Prusa Mini and primarily print in PLA and PETG using either Prusament or Overture brand. I get excellent prints with both with minimal issues. I used this pink roll to print out some pigs for someone and they came out perfect. I recently tried a few eSun rolls to save a few dollars and regretted it due to brittle filament, poor adhesion and other issues. I'll stick with Overture going forward unless I find a really good deal on Prusament.

It's pink & prints come out nice

Pink self watering pot? Yes please! This prints well, sometimes it will have a hiccup with the Bambu Lab P1P, but if you're there, it's easy to catch and quickly fix. It doesn't have a shine, but if you sand and spray it with a gloss, it should be fine. It's very bubblegum pink. This is my go-to brand and color.

Solid, but Poor Quality Control

I stumbled across overture when Hatchbox was out of the color I needed and I was initially impressed with the quality. It printed great out of the box, but the quality seems to vary from color to color. The black, white, blue, and green all worked great. I tried the pink filament though for a 22 hour print (my longest one I've tried), but ran into a few issues. The first attempt failed when the filament broke straight off the roll after about 30 minutes. I managed to catch this, stop the print, and remove the damaged filament. I threw it in the filament dryer for 6 hours (first time I've done this for a fresh role) and tried again. Once again, it failed in the same way about an hour into it. I had to throw the roll I to the dryer for another 12 hours (18 hours total) before it quit breaking and lost the brittleness. It's only the pink filament I've had this happen to, but I'm going to start throwing their filament in the dryer straight out of the box to make sure this doesn't happen again.

Another great filament from Overture

Prints great once I dialed down the temperatures. I initially started printing it at the same temperatures I print other Overture filaments, but this one just seemed to do better once I turned the hotend and bed temperatures down a few degrees. Sticks great to my hotbed without the need for brims, and hasn't clogged up or cause any extraction issues yet either. Wife loves the color (What woman doesn't like pink, lol), so this is perfect for anything I print for her. Will definitely buy another roll when this one runs out for sure.
