For the money, this is a great little diesel engine! As every other Chinese built engine I have have bought, the packaging is pretty much trash. You can expect some damage to the tin work. Mine the blower housing that the recoil starter bolts to was pushed in, which made the flywheel fins contact the bolts that hold the recoil starter on. so I had to remove the blower housing and pound the warped metal back out to make clearance. I installed this engine on my pressure washer which previously had a 5.5HP Honda GX engine on it. This 5HP diesel engine performs better than the 5.5HP Honda. Under load this engine just plays with the pressure washer pump where as the Honda you could tell really had a load on it in comparison. Engine always starts within 1-2 pulls. One thing to note, is this engine does not have a standard 3/4" output shaft as you would expect.. so the proper way would be to remove the crankshaft and turn it down in a lathe.. the improper way (the way I did it) is to start the engine up and machine it down with a flap wheel on my grinder. Take your time and focus on keeping the shaft straight. take little bit at a time as it actually comes off quicker than you would think.

I took it out of the crate, put gas and oil in it and it started right up. I haven’t mounted it to the go cart I bought it for yet but I think it will pull the front wheels off the ground! The throttle linkage was too tight but just back off on the lock nut.

Broken when i got it. Poor quality control. Shipping box and crate was in good shape so i didn’t get damaged in shipping. Engine had to been damaged when it was installed in wood crate. 1st thing you notice when you open crate so who ever put engine in crate had to see it was damaged. Fuel cap on fuel tank isn’t even the right size. Fuel cap is a size to big for tank so cap won’t even screw on.

I broke the engine in and did everything the manual said to do. It only ran for 3 minutes and died. The seller wouldn't let me return it but have be half of what I paid to take it to a diesel repair shop.

Packing was good, make sure to fill oil a little difficult to start first few times. Until engine properly broken in. Now starts first pull no issues. Finding a pulley for shaft size take some doing due to shaft is sized at 20 mm Very satisfied
