  • I like these. (1500mAh AA)
I have taken it upon me to be a better rechargeable battery reviewer. Hopefully I supply you with what you need. Pros: Better than listed capacity. Low Self Discharge. Keeps 91.28% of it's charge. (As in you put in X amount of mAh and you get 91.28% back out.) Cons: The listing says to recharge these every 3 months. And drain them all the way before charging. Are these NiMh Low Self Discharge or are they not? The shouldn't need that if they are. To the tests: For Constant Current (CC), Constant Resistance (CR) and Constant Power (CP), I have graphs. For the other two, I have times. CC Just for reference: -0.4A, cutoff at 0.9V. Drew 1633mAh or 1770mWh, took 04:04:58. A standard alkaline battery got: 2207mAh or 2491mWh and took 05:31:07 on the same test. CR is like motors and pure LEDs: 3.75ohms, cutoff at 0.9V. Drew 1646mAh or 1911mWh, took 05:19:39. A standard alkaline battery got: 2472mAh or 2832mWh and took 08:11:23 on the same test. (A lot of time was spent below 1v) CP is like digital cameras or CD players: 0.48w, cutoff at 0.9V. Drew 1695mAh or 1942mWh, took 04:02:53. A standard alkaline battery got: 1875mAh or 2132mWh and took 04:26:40 on the same test. My CD player: Ran for 22:11:06. Alkaline ran for 44:39:30. My contraption: It got 6888 points. Alkaline got 11257 points. Sure, the alkaline lasts longer—once, since it should not be recharged. Looking at the graphs, you can see that this battery is able to hold its voltage at around 1.2v a lot longer than the alkaline holds at 1.5v. And you can also see that the 1.5v just lasts for a tiny amount of the total power draw. That's why in the CP test, the time is not that much longer for the alkaline, where in the CR test it was able to almost double it's run time against this NiMh battery. I will not be testing the Low Self Discharge because that would take too long. Same with the 1500 recharge cycles. I can say that I have some 12+ year old NiMh batteries that still hold their rated capacity, so hopefully these are like those. Conclusion: For price, I got these at a dollar a piece. I'm pretty sure that my alkaline ones cost about 1.25. I was consistently able to get more milliamp hours (mAh) out of these than the number on the side. They should be a solid purchase if you don't need more mAh per cell. If you need more comparisons, feel free to ask in the questions section. ... show more

  • Good Everyday Battery
Pretty much standard capacity for 1.5V AA battery. They are reliable batteries. Good capacity for small household electronics and kid's toy. Holding charges very well and get charged fairly quickly.

  • Fantastic value, charge fast, hold charge well, at least as long lasting as the other AAs I have
I received the PEYHFCCE 1500mAh Rechargeable AA Batteries, 1.2V NiMH Solar AA Battery for Outdoor Solar Lights and Household Devices, High Capacity Pre-Charged 12 Pack. I have a lot of Christmas decorations that need AA batteries. This pack of 12 came in very handy for the holidays. They hold a charge well and are long lasting. They charge up pretty quickly too. Note that you get 12 batteries, but you need to supply the charger. At less than a dollar per battery, these are a phenomenal value. I'm very pleased with this and have more on order. ... show more

  • NO MORE disposable batteries - these are a bargain!
8 out of 12 of these rechargeable AA batteries by PEYHFCCE arrived with just a trickle of a charge in them, but after an hour of charging on my EBL charger (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EB7812C), they all showed a full 1.2 volt charge on a digital voltmeter. For less than 85 cents per battery (in a pack of 12, at the time of this review,) this is a wonderfully economical way to keep my solar landscape lights glowing in the coming months. ... show more
