When I was a kid, I would have loved to have this incubator. The first one I bought many years ago I dumped as soon as I received it, it was nothing but trash. So I built my own out of a cardboard box and a heating lamp. Now we have this which are better designed and more "automatic". Very easy to use, perfect for a child's first experience hatching eggs and developing patience (it takes about 21 days to hatch chickens, that's 3 weeks!)...You can easily control temperature, humidity, follow eggs progress with the integrated light... The only negative for me is the steep price...Almost $70 for a 15 eggs incubator... ... show more

i was hesitant because the product didnt have reviews but we gave it a go anyways, and well im delighted to say the least. out of thr 15 eggs we put 7 fertilized and hatched in just two weeks!

    • Solid starter incubator.
This unit addresses many of the deficiencies we experienced with our first incubator. Automatic temperature control and humidity is a huge upgrade from our first incubator. I will update my review as we progress!

The media could not be loaded. Chalixion is a pretty good brand. I love the external water pump, especially because it works to push water into the incubator without opening the lid. Still, it can also be used to remove some of the water if the humidity is too high. It reads in Fahrenheit, and both the temperature and humidity are displayed on the easy-to-read screen. The auto-turn feature works well, and it gently rotates the eggs every 2 hours. The quality of the material is durable. ... show more

I haven't used this to incubate eggs yet (will update the review once I do) but I put it through a function test and everything works properly. Gets up to temperature fast and maintains temps well, and the built-in humidifier is a nice touch!
