  • Great long distance viewing
Size: 15-35X70 Zoom Binoculars
These are great for looking at things 2, 3 & even 4 miles away. Whale & ship viewing from shore is just perfect. The tripod adapter fit my camera tripod perfectly and is a must to steady the viewing. I am really happy with these binoculars.

  • Great value inexpensive but still very good quality viewing lenses
Size: 15-35X70 Zoom Plus
These binoculars are awesome. The zoom on them is really good. Very clear. Awesome for looking at the stars at night. Comes with a nice padded plush neckband and lens covers as well as a case to carry it in or store it in. The only problem I have with it is when you're adjusting the focus on it. It's very jerky and not smooth at all. But once you get the hang of it, they're an amazing set of binoculars, especially for the price man. Holy smokes. What a deal. It also comes with a cell phone mount so you can take pictures or video of what you're looking at. Although I have a hard time using it with my Google pixel because it keeps trying to switch the camera lens in which the phone is viewing from ... show more

  • High expectations not realized
Size: 15-35X70 Zoom Plus
I own several binoculars, and almost without exception, they feature optical relief—eyepieces that allow the user to attain maximum viewing quality by adjusting the distance between the eyepiece lens and the user’s eye. It’s especially useful to people who wear eyeglasses. I wear eyeglasses mostly to read, and I sometimes will wear them when using binoculars with or without relief. I didn’t have the option to do so in this instance, but I haven’t always needed to depend on eye relief to get a quality view, either. And I’m always able to come up with a good view in much less time than I so far have invested to no avail with this binocular. The view through each individual monocular is good. But when viewed together, it’s not. Another concern: With the binocular attached to the provided tripod mount it is literally hanging by a thread…well, two actually, three if you remove the rubber washer, in which case it will not correctly tighten. Dangling a 2 lb. 15 oz. optical instrument from the top of a tripod with two threads of a 6mm bolt seems risky. And, yes, the magnification is high enough that a tripod will likely be required for most viewing. Cosmetically, the binocular is top notch, wrapped in rubbery, flat black with rubber grip inlays. There is also a good assortment of quality accessories, including lens caps; a neck strap; a padded nylon carrying case with a strap and hook and loop closure; a smartphone adapter; a small lens cleaning cloth and an instruction sheet. ... show more

  • Powerful, But a Bit Bulky for Casual Use
Size: 15-35X70 Zoom Plus
I took these 15-35x70 zoom binoculars out on a clear night for some stargazing, and they delivered impressively. The magnification range lets you dial in and catch details that regular binoculars just can’t. I was able to get a crisp view of the moon’s craters, and spotting far-off wildlife during a morning hike was equally sharp. The included phone adapter is a nice touch, though it took a bit of fiddling to get everything aligned just right. That said, these are not light or compact. At 70mm, they have a substantial heft, and I wouldn’t recommend them for casual sightseeing unless you’re using a tripod. Thankfully, the tripod adapter works well and helps with stability, especially at higher magnifications where every movement gets amplified. The image clarity was solid across the zoom range, although at full 35x, there was a bit of shimmer and a narrow field of view. Not a dealbreaker, but worth noting if you plan to use that setting frequently. For most uses, staying in the 15-25x range gave me excellent clarity and ease of use. They also held up well in damp early morning conditions. I didn’t fully submerge them, but light mist and dew didn’t cause any fogging or issues. Overall, these are great for serious bird watchers, amateur astronomers, or anyone who enjoys a closer look at the world just be ready for the weight and size that come with that power. ... show more

  • Instant Headache
Size: 15-35X70 Zoom Binoculars
Very disappointing. Like another stated, the focus line is so fine good luck finding it. Very dark image. Very heavy, very large. No matter how stable you are the image bounces all over. Must use a tripod. Terrible eyestrain and headache within seconds of using these. Couldn't focus on anything in the night sky. 95% of my use is wildlife. Don't waste time trying to find something cheap. Diamondbacks are worth the $$$ for a good set of binoculars. ... show more
