- 2L High-Pressure Water Bottle Use & Storage Before cleaning: simply fill the 2L manual pressure bottle with water (add cleaner if desired) and tighten the lid. After use: release remaining pressure, empty the bottle, wipe it dry, and store it together with the folded cleaning cover for compact, space-saving storage.

This is a decent kit for accomplishing the job. Before you start: 1) make sure you know how to take off the cover to your unit. Every unit has different screw locations and clips that hold the cover on. You don't have to take the cover off, but it really helps get deeper access to the inside of the unit and ensure all drips are caught. 2) Get some foaming evaporator cleaners. The foam will expand and loosen dirt and other particles that are stuck on the surfaces. One can is enough to clean two 36" wide units. 3) Turn the electricity off. You don't want to be working with a water spray around powered units. One slip will turn this maintenance into a big expensive AC repair. What I ended up using was just the drip catcher and the water spray. None of the included brushes worked to get access to the inside parts of the fan which were my primary cleaning targets. When I opened the pump to put water in and change the nozzle, there was water already in the nozzle that leaked out. My kit didn't look like a return so maybe it was leftover from testing?? After removing the cover (if possible) and turning off power, attach the drip catcher, making sure it won't slip off and ensuring the back is tucked up a little bit between the unit and the wall. I got the small size and it fit on my 36" and smaller units. Once the drip catcher is on ensure the drainage tube is not kinked and going into bucket. Disconnect any directional vanes to make it easier to access the inside of the unit. I just disconnected the left side and it was enough. Spray liberally with foam. Target the fan that it inside the unit. After doing a spray, rotate the fan and spray again. Do this several times until the entire fan has foam on it. Then foam up the rest of the unit. After the foam starts to dissolve, use the water blaster to direct strong water streams to the fan blades. Rotate the fan blades after you go the length of the fan and do it again. For me, the fan was the most dirty. This will be the most tedious part of the cleaning. I couldn't get any of the included brushes back there, but if you can that would be great. I did the above three times per unit. After the last foaming session, use lots of water to rinse out the dirt and mildew.

This worked well I really didn't need any special cleaners just took my time spraying all the gunk and dust off the fins and especially the fan blades only had picture of junk in the bucket took my time little over 2 hour I dryed with hair dryer as I need air in afternoon
