I like it a lot. It's a little chunky and a tad heavier than I expected, but honestly it's a great little device. It's so much better than having to carry my phone. I bought it for it's intended purpose as a powerful mp3 player and use it when I walk for fitness. After looking at dozens of these, I decided on this KeenPlus U1 for a couple for a couple of reasons. Namely, Android 13 (14 would have been nice, but 13 is good enough) and Bluetooth 5.3. My wireless earbuds use an app and I need solid connectivity when working out. Android 13 is the way to go, don't buy anything earlier. You get full access to the Google Play Store without any hassle. Since set up is just like with an Android phone, that's pretty easy too, I didn't bother reading the included instructions. The MP3 player's wireless streaming is incredible sounding with my wireless earbuds. Seriously, this player shines as an MP3 player for use with earbuds/wireless headphones. It's also great to be able to customize the layout and delete any unnecessary preloaded apps. Pros: - Android 13 and Bluetooth 5.3 - Great sound quality using wireless headphones/earbuds - Storage is huge, and file transfer was very fast - The screen isn't going to blow anyone away, but it's definitely good enough - The U1 came with a rubber case already installed, nice Cons: - internal speaker is terrible, tinny sounding - The built-in music player was fine (app) but mysteriously stopped working. I downloaded a different music player and all is well - Battery life is relatively short, one day only. If you use it every day, you'll be charging it every day - I tried downloading a wireless thermometer app from the Play Store. For whatever rreason, the app didn't work on this device, but I blame the app - Not the product's fault, but you can buy almost identical form factor 4G phones to use as an emergency phone/MP3 player for around the same or even less. They look the same as this player, but with the added functionality of being a phone.

I started to give this mp3 player four stars because of the absolutely terrible earbuds that came with it, but the mp3 player itself is so good, I couldn't do it. Just know that you will want to purchase separate earbuds or use ones you already have because these are too large to actually fit in my normal adult sized ear and they have zero padding on them. Hence, the sound is terrible. However, after pulling out some old earbuds of mine, I found the sound to be excellent. You can also use wireless earbuds, though I haven't tried that yet. The player comes with apple music and Amazon music apps already downloaded, along with YouTube and Facebook and a few other apps. I was able to sign into my apple account and stream from there, and the sound quality was excellent. Also played some fitness videos on YouTube and it was seamless. This mp3/mp4 player will definitely help save the life of my phone as I can use it during workouts (with wireless earbuds) instead of my phone.

I had to return this item. First of all, it was very small to type in anything. My wifi would not work no matter how many times I entered it in. Just not compatible so I had to return it.

This device was bought for music streaming purposes. Like Spotify but the difference is, I was able to install a custom android app (Tempo via apk, not available on the Play Store) to stream music from my local server via wi-fi and it does the job properly. However due to the small screen, I needed to use a bluetooth keyboard to type in the server URL and password. Using a bluetooth media button(that was purchased, not cheap) also made navigating through the playlist more convenient even though there was no seek features. It does have 128GB SD card but don't have much plans to use it. Not a perfect device but it does the job that I wanted it to do so far.

The media could not be loaded. Tons of space, easy to modify and use interface make this great value overall with minor negatives like small on-screen buttons and less-than-infinite battery life. Still, overall, this is a great player for the money if you want a dedicated player with tons of functionality. ✅ Android based operating system gives you tons of flexibility in apps to use. ✅Tons of space for movies, music, or audiobooks ✅Dead simple to transfer and organize. Just drag music to appropriate folder ✅ Excellent as a dedicated player for a gym, salon, restaurant, or other isolated situation. ✅ Bluetooth connection works great ✅ Great speaker, similar to an iPhone's power ☑️ Battery doesn't last as long as I'd like. (bluetooth and speaker drain the battery fast.) ☑️ Side buttons can be hard to hit sometimes ☑️ On-screen buttons can be hard to hit and cause you to search instead of skip, etc. If there are any changes in this player's quality, I'll report back in. 🤞 I hope you found my notes, pictures and video useful. Expected less for the price, but this player delivers! Supports all my apps (Andora, Spotify), and the 144GB + expandable storage is a lifesaver. Video playback (MP4) is smooth too. Perfect for kids or as a secondary phone-like device without distractions.

Keenplus U1 is a steal! Runs Spotify Kids and Amazon Music smoothly, and the battery life is solid. Added a 512GB card for all my songs and audiobooks—no lag. Bluetooth pairs fast with my earbuds. Only wish the screen was brighter outdoors.
