These were so fun! As a Gen X kid, I remember receiving these in school carnivals and church bazaars as prizes. I was asked to be a fortune teller at my nephew's 10th "Series of Unfortunate Events"-themed birthday party and I thought these would be a hit and they were! Both the kids AND adults loved them! My brother even asked for some of the extras to bring to work because they were a hit there too. Would highly recommend as some inexpensive but entertaining party favors.

We purchased these to put in goodie bags and they are adorable. They are just like the cheap gumball machine versions you’d get as a child back in the day. Lay in hand and they curl and move. A fun little magic trick to add to any wizard, magic or circus event!

I have had a passion for oracles ever since I was a young kid. These fish may have been my first! They are pretty much as I remembered them, except the divination keys are totally focused on romance. As I recall, in my youth they had more generic meanings for the various curls, etc. I wish I could find a non-romantic key! Still, they are a lot of fun! Even if you are not keen on oracles, the way the fish curl up is fun and entertaining. We'll be including them in Halloween grab bags this October!

I bought these to give out with a paper fortune at Halloween. We set up a backyard haunted carnival theme and our Fortune Teller handed these out to the kids. I did add a note "Do Not Eat" on the outside of the package to insure the children would not confuse the fish with candy. I also separated the candy from the fortune so to insure there was no mistake. For the value this is a great party favor. The fish do work and it was a flash back from when I was a kid and I remembered playing with one of these. The Fortune Teller Fish is made of thin plastic and curls up in different positions which determines what your fortune is. For example: If the fish just moves it's head then that suggests "jealousy"; if the fish moves it's tail than that suggests "indifference", etc. There are 7 different movement explanations printed on the outside of the package. It's kinda wierd that the fish changes shape in different people's hands. I'm assuming it has to do with body temperature as far as how much it curls, etc. I did get feedback that the kids loved the Fortune Fish. I was happy with the inexpensive price for the amount of product. All in all I highly recommend this idea to all even if it's just for your own personal enjoyment.

It was a much better deal to get the amount that I got instead of getting a smaller amount so I keep about 25 of them in my purse at all times I gave them to a waiter I give him several of them if he asked if I have a couple more to give to his friends then I'll give him all that I have in my purse with me is smile on his face is just crazy I've given them to all of my friends I some of my friends have never heard of them before most of them and a lot of us are the same age group it's like what planet are you from? I mean they were all over the place when I was a kid if my sister was still alive she would have remembered these and would have got a kick out of giving them away too. Thanks for the memories. Of course I have to instruct everyone how to use them and to keep them not to discard them they are totally reusable. LOL Young generation I swear they will never have anything as neat as this.
