Looking great in the pictures fools a lot of people when choosing any product. Very true in the case of this 13x15’ gazebo. The parts and pieces came well packaged. Only one small dent in one corner of the metal. The metal is sufficiently strong enough. The cuts and pre drilled holes are fantastic. The screws included about 10 that were 1/8” shorter than the others which took about 30-45 minutes to determine the problem. The nuts did not have enough thread to get secured. The most glaring and consequential problem is the ad claims the “wood is Cedar” and the pictures of the gazebo appear to show a 6x6 post for the four corners. They are actually triangular shaped measuring 4 1/8” x 4 1/8” x 4 7/8”. The wood is akin to balsa wood used in making model airplanes! I suspect if a 100 pound person were to do a pull up in the middle of the 15’ span, the joint would break in two pieces and the structure would collapse! There are a couple of places on the rim boards which appear to be starting to separate. This item was about $200 cheaper ($1200 including delivery fees) than others which are similar in size but should that mean an “inferior product”!? I think not. Beware.

Let's get this out of the way: The wood is not what you'd get with a $2500 gazebo. The posts are made of smaller pieces glued together. The supports seem a little too thin to do their job properly. When it's together it feels sturdy, but it's not the kind of heirloom install that you would hang a hammock off of. That said, it's surprisingly well made for the money. All of the connecting plates are solid metal - no plastic connectors. Most of the screws go into reinforced metal housings, not directly into the wood. The roof rails and panels are steel. I'm so glad we got the curtain set. You get four curtains, four mosquito nets, and a clever little velcro mosquito net for the upper roof gap. We dyed the curtains because they were more smoker's teeth yellow than white -- but they fit great and look fantastic now. Assembly is easy but time-consuming - there's 150 screws in the roof panels alone! All the pre-drilled holes were in the right places. Some of the pictures in the instructions are confusing, but it's not a complex build. We needed two people and two 6' ladders. We built the wooden frame, then used that to measure where the posts would go. Then we poured concrete in 12" cylindrical forms, making sure they were all level to each other. That was the hardest part of putting the thing together and took an entire day. After that, we moved the frame in and it took a couple hours to put up the roof supports. The roof panels took several hours spread out over a couple days. Over all I'm thrilled with it and happy we bought it.

Wasn’t sure if the 13x15 would be too big, it fits on our patio just perfect. Was delivered within just a few days, came in 5 boxes and everything was easily numbered/organized so we could put together: definitely looks expensive. My only regret is not getting the curtains.

I truly recommend this gazebo because it looks amazing in person. We are already getting attention from neighbors. It truly goes up fast with little to no issues. The seller is quick to respond with any questions you may have. We are looking forward to enjoying it for years to come.
