I picked up a handful of Garvee canopies to test them all out against each other. In addition to this one I got the 11x11 and the 10x20 with the sidewalls. I also picked up their "budget" version 13x13 under their "Garvee Essentials" line. Honestly, I don't see any real difference between this 13x13 and the Garvee Essentials one except for the colors (the essentials one is variations on gray) and the essentials one was listed for slightly less when I ordered it, though that does factor in to my rating since my main reason for this being 4-stars rather than 5-stars is the price since this was listed for $179.99 when I ordered it and there are numerous other 13x13 canopies with mosquito netting that are $40-50 less on Amazon as I write this, and those other ones have considerably more reviews to comment on the pros and cons of the canopies. Heck, even the Essentials version I picked up was $20 cheaper when I ordered it, and they're pretty much the same (the vent is the main difference as this one has the vent sitting higher with more overlap to prevent rain getting through, but the frame sturdiness is identical as far as I can tell). The canopies all required some amount of assembly prior to the first use. It's not my first time with canopies like this, so it wasn't particularly difficult but take your time and make sure all the parts are there. The actual "pop up" functions well and is pretty easy to do even with just one person (hint: keep the height low until after you've secured the canopy roof, and only then raise the leg heights as that makes it a lot easier to get it over the top and secured). The frame feels sturdy enough for mild weather and light rain. It's a mid-tier canopy and there are very few pop-ups I've encountered that I'd trust to hold up to any sort of severe weather or gusty winds. You'll want to stake down the legs or add weights (personally, I've recently become a fan of the water weights for camping purposes, but if this is for home then the plastic coated concrete disks have worked well for me in the past). Once weighted and fully opened, it seems pretty stable and that extra 2 feet (compared to the 11x11) makes a big difference if you're putting a standard picnic table underneath because it allows traffic around the table on all sides. So, between the 11x11 and this 13x13 I definitely prefer the size of the 13x13, but their frames are essentially the same as is the build quality. It's not a bad canopy at all, and it looks quite nice, especially from a distance. But it also doesn't offer any features that justify it being so much more than the other highly rated, similar canopies here on Amazon.
