I normally buy CHI flatirons and I have had 2 CHIs that have each lasted me about 5 years each before the heat element gets sluggish. I decided to try something new and since there were a good number of great reviews on Amazon, I purchased this flatiron. That was in July and by the end of October it would no longer turn on. I use a flatiron on a daily basis so not having a reliable flatiron is not an option. I quickly purchased a $30 backup and returned the VIBRAstrait to Brocato (which cost me $10 to ship back at my own expense). It was processed with no issues and they sent a "new" one via UPS which I received yesterday. I was VERY excited until I was 5 minutes into straightening my hair this morning and it STOPPED VIBRATING! Seriously? Almost $100 for a flatiron, I should not have to go through all this hassle. I have sent an email this morning to Brocato requesting a full refund since I am outside of the Amazon return window. If they are a quality company, I would expect that they will give a refund with no issues. I will definitely come back and update this review with the outcome. My overall review- the iron really does work great but its garbage quality- unfortunately. For the money you pay, buy the CHI instead. ... show more

I’m a stylist of 25 years and bar none one of the best flatirons I’ve ever used and will only use! If I use any other brand and it doesn’t vibrate then Ithink it’s just broke now l! I have one I’ve used at the salon for 3 years daily use doing keratin treatments and still goingstrong! Thank you.

I bought this flat iron in July. I’m a seasoned hairstylist and I was looking for a tool to make smoothing services better and easier. One of my biggest pet peeves on styling tools is the fact that warranties are almost nonexistent. As a business owner, I stand behind my services because I believe that what I’m delivering is a good product. As I was finishing a client with this flat iron, it shut off and refused to turn back on I gave it a little bit of time just in case it had overheated… It never turned back on. Unfortunately, I am outside of the warranty. It didn’t even last a year I reached out through Amazon/ Vibrastrait… and have heard nothing back. Needless to say, I am very disappointed.
