One important new feature: the LED is on the face of the board, not on the back, as on the previous model. This means that if you mount it permanently, as I do, you can still easily see the light display, which indicates the panel status. It cost a few bucks more but it is definitely worth it.

I bought this solar trickle charger to charge the battery of my golf cart when I'm on our recreational property that does not have power. It comes packaged nicely. I included pictures of everything it includes. It is very easy to set up and get charging. Just follow the directions in the manual that is included in paper (don't have to search and download it, which is nice). But it's pretty intuitive to use.

I liked the product. Installed today on my generator and it charged the battery in a few hours. The generator was sitting on the stire shelf for who knows how many months. Con: Most other brands offer eyelet for the battery. This brand only had soldered wired ends.

My first panel received drained my not quite 2y old battery over night. I sent correspondence to the seller and they replaced it in no time after a few questions. So 5 stars for costumer service. I only take off one star because, reading the reviews this seems to be common. AND it was NOT good for my battery to be drained. It kills the life of a lead acid battery. The new one so far has not done so. It appears to be working to keep my battery up. But, only around 11.87. I would like to add that as this thing sits on my dash the silver grid causes a significant glare on the windshield. Be nice if that was black or less visible.
