Amazing bed for a 10 year old!! We had her grandma take her overnight for a fun birthday evening, and while she was away, my husband and I put the bed together to surprise her when she got back home. She LOVES IT! A great birthday gift for a growing kid who wants to have slumber parties with friends and her own space to do homework, craft, and play at the desk. She has a small room but the bed fits perfectly and has storage for toys, books, art supplies, etc. It came with a TON of pieces but all were numbered properly and instructions were easy enough to follow. It took a couple hours and teamwork to assemble. One downfall is that the package is very heavy and very long. So heavy and long that the delivery guy couldn't get it to my door without my help. He dropped it 2x that I saw, so I offered to help him because I was worried he would dent or break pieces. The box said "FRAGILE" all over it.. So beware of that possible situation if you do order this bed, and maybe have someone at home when it is being delivered. Anyways.. the bed is very sturdy even without the option they give you to bolt it to the wall if it is assembled properly. The top bunk is quite high and doesn't leave a ton of room between the average 8 foot ceiling in most houses, and beware if there is a ceiling fan near where you place the bed. Lol But all in all, we are so pleased with this, everything was exactly as described and definitely met our expectations. We couldn't pass it up for the price, it is a steal! But beware, there is an $80+ shipping fee that I didn't notice until checkout. The LED lights are a fun little perk also!

It’s pretty strong. I’d like to suggest maybe adding additional bolt holes lower down just in case the top bunk is too tall for the ceiling. I can tell you it’s strong, because I just about dulled the hacksaw I used to cut the bed a foot shorter, and had a heck of a time drilling new bolt holes. It’s a sturdy, heavyweight bed. The height is just a personal thing, really, not their fault at all. The instructions were impeccable, and I loved how all the parts were organized, that abc thing in order of what you needed is amazing. Love it. The bolts and tools were awesome as well, so nicely packaged. It’s pretty stable, not wobbling even on an uneven floor. I’d say it’s worth it, even if I had to do some modifying. Wasn’t that big of a deal. I def don’t worry about anything snapping.

This bed is great! My 9 year old son loves it! It looks great in his room. His cousin slept on the top bunk when he visited this weekend. I really like that this bed is mature enough to last through my son's teenage years. The dymintions are true. You should measure and plan before you buy. Setup was REALLY easy! We did put a few pieces in backwards, which caused us to have to take them apart and reinstall them. But the picture dicections are easy to follow. 1 person can do this by their self if needed. Having 2 people is a little better.
