This bike is great for those who like a little speed but enjoys the comfort/safety of riding a bike. The pedal assist initiates with ease. The battery lasts good bit so you don't have to worry about your battery failing you really fast especially if you alternate between pedaling, pedal assist and full throttle. I have never dropped below half after an hour or so of riding.It's a wonderful machine . The maximum speed I was able to experience was about 19 miles per hour using the app Waze to measure the speed. I have a child seat attached at the rear where, though it adds more weight, I don't think it affects the speed much. Overall it is a great bike; I highly suggest you get one, great for the price. ... show more

After four rides on this bike, the shifter got stuck on #2. There were other problems that local bike shop could not tackle. I contacted Amazon and they contacted the seller. My order is beyond the return period, but since this bike is not safe to ride I went ahead and requested a return label. Seller send video and apologies, but no label. Seems only the bottom line matters and not safety. A practically new bike and it doesn’t work right. I regret recommending this bike before I really had more time riding it. Bike looks great and solid, but the little things that make it safe are not there, like seller integrity. I’m an Amazon customer and have always been satisfied with my purchases. Had this Gokeep step thru for a few weeks. Like getting on and off safely and easily. Power is very good. Service is responsive and is currently helping me change some settings like speed limits. I put saddlebags on and can get all my groceries including gallon jugs and liter bottles. Go to the gym and tennis in hilly San Diego with no problems. Added an old cell phone for gps speed and trip stats. Even Costco trips with oversized everything has been easy. I tend to leave the power off for much of my ride, just add in pedal or throttle as needed. I really like the throttle because it is not limited by the PAS level. I can get up to the highest throttle speed even when in PAS 1 which is limited to about 8mph. Helps me get through a busy area quickly without having to change to PAS level 5 in a tight situation. ... show more

Very easy to assemble, Bike is well built, Was riding within 30 minutes of receiving The delivery, which also was nicely packaged, no damage to any parts. I ride it 5 miles to work then back home, so 10 miles round trip, comes with front and rear lights, which is good because it's still dark when I leave for work, very bright lights, also bike rides and handles great, the suspension system really helps on bumps, And the bike is quick, even faster when after riding you let the throttle go and peddle, it will kick on the motors and if you keep air peddling it will go faster than full throttle normally goes, great investment for me, I was spending $600 a month on Uber back and forth from work so this will pay for itself in one month after that I'll be able to save $600 a month recommend this bike completely ... show more
