These lights are affordable and durable! I wrapped them outside around my deck for some festive lighting. The lights are 45 ft long. The lights are rated at IP65 so they can stand some weather. We got some light showers and these lights were not affected. The effects are kind of fun to use as well (you can change the lighting effects either with the included remote or the battery pack that is at the base of the lights). I also tested out the timer option (16h off, 8h on). This is really convenient as my previous deck lights were manual ones that I had to plug into the outdoors outlet, and I would frequently forget to go plug them in. NOTE: The unit includes a lithium ion battery meant for use in the remote, but DOES NOT include the 3x AAA batteries required to operate the lights. I would put some protection around the battery encasing since I feel like that could get damaged in the elements. Overall, very satisfied with this lighting strand! ... show more

I ordered these lights to decorate my mailbox on the street during the Holidays. Overall these lights worked great and I would recommend them to anyone wanting a battery-powered strand of lights that can work outdoors and display multiple light patterns. The LEDs all worked well and the wiring looked good. These 8 different light display patterns can be cycled through either using the remote control or by using the control buttons on the battery pack. The remote control distance seemed to be about 5-10 feet so your mileage may vary for using the remote on these lights. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Very nice looking LED lights that are affordable. They are very portable due to being battery powered by 3 AAA batteries, which are not included, so be aware of this and have them handy. The remote for the lights does come with a lithium ion battery already installed, just remove the plastic protector to engage the battery. There are 8 different light settings to choose from that can be controlled by the remote of the button on the battery case. 130 LED lights are a lot, so the length of the wire they are on is long, somewhere between 35-40 feet. I don't think you will go wrong with these lights. I am very happy with them! ... show more

Product came in a box that's 1/3 of the size of other string lights I've seen or owned, thanks to the over all very low profile designs of the LED housing and the wiring. This has plenty of length to wrap around things while everything can be put back into a box that I can easily carry in my pocket. The fact that it's battery-powered adds more to the portability. I don't need to ensure there are outlets near where I want the lights to be, nor do I have to worry about hiding the typically-very-long power cable from sight. The media could not be loaded. These lights came with a string of lights, a battery case (no batteries included for light strand) and a remote (with remote battery included). I love how easy it is to change the mood with a different light setting. I have not tried them outside in inclement weather so I can’t speak to that aspect just yet. I have a mixture of battery and outlet powered lights for the holidays so I’m not restricted to where I can and can’t have lights displayed. These lights are great to use if you don’t have access to an outlet where you want to use them. I’ve been using them in my theater room to give create a Christmas feel. I hanged them in my backyard, and was exactly what I envisioned and needed there. I can control the lights with the remote it comes with from the comfort of my home instead of going out into the cold and manually turning them off or on.
