I got this to replace some dated lights in my kitchen. I liked the brushed nickel finish and the overall look of the lights but I do wish they were lower profile. These lights were very easy to install. I liked the fact that there was a switch that allowed me to adjust the brightness of the led. This functionality was great. The order came with two lights which represent real value. Overall, I really liked the lights, the ability to adjust brightness and the size but really wish they had a lower profile slimmer look.

What I say: I am attaching 4 pictures to this review, so you can see the packaging it arrived in, a close up of the light, a close up of the siding, and what the back's hook up entails. I do not need anything to change colors for moods and such. I ordered these because they looked like they give out a lot of light and easy to install. I was correct on both accounts. I mounted one in my kitchen and one in the dining room. They give out plenty of light and was very easy to hook up. The price is excellent, especially since you get two lights in this one package. As usual, if I have any trouble with the product, I will return and note an EDIT at the end of this review to warn potential buyers. One of these two lights is about to go up in the kitchen to replace a fairly good led light, but this one is better. What do I like about them, besides a great price? I got these lights not only because they look great, but because the 36 watt, flush mount, brushed nickle fixture provides 4,000 lumens, and that is a lot of light. According to the vendor, they provide an equivalent to 450 watts of incandescent light, with selectable 5 pro-grade color temperatures (2700K-6500K). My eyes appreciate good and bright lighting for kitchen activities. The lights are suitable for any room or location where good lighting is needed or desired. The PVC shade is new to me. I have not been aware of it on any other lighting I have used. The vendor claims it is a superior product do to strength and resistance to breaking. It reportedly resists yellowing and will provide years of service. With installation of a dimmer switch, these led lights are dimmable, so the power delivered to the led lights can be adjusted depending on your needs. I won't be installing for a few days, but anticipate no problems. Instructions, installation screws with drywall anchors and orange wire nuts are included for attaching the light to the existing wiring including a ground wire. These lights do not include an installation plate often use to secure screws. However, if you have an existing installation, it may have an installation plate already in place, or I have taken photos of a round box with included screws in both the inner set, and the outer set of threaded screw holes, set against the back plate of the lights to show that they line up for standard installation. With this type of electrical box, no installation plate is needed. My photo is a "new work" round box with stud nails, but there is an "old work" model with a metal bracket that will slip through a round hole cut into the drywall, then tightens with a screw, against the back of the drywall, if you need to install a round box. I think I am going to love these Powerful 36w 13 Inch Dimmable LED Ceiling Light Fixtures, and can recommend them without reservation if you want a dimmable, powerful, led, flush mount fixture.

These lights pretty much lit up my garage. I realize that they are typically used in interior spaces like bedrooms, but I have a finished garage and I was in need of an upgrade to the 25 year old builder fixtures. I had a pair of BR30 bulbs in there, but these fixtures put out WAY more illumination. They also look great and install really quickly. The metal is basically what I'd expect. Fairly common thickness, formed nicely. The acrylic shades are also of typical industry quality as this price point. However, the LED array really puts out a ton of illumination compared to most. These destroyed the BR30 bulbs and they look much better.
