This worked great for me. Such a time saver and easy on my arthritic hands. Does it do as good of a job as hand trimming? Well no, but I wasn't entering my herbs in any beauty pageants so I will take the time save and live with the extra sugar leaves! (The picture is trimmed wet with the trimmer bowl and then dried in the provided drying hanging rack) I feel like even is you use this product to trim and then hand trim you will still save loads of time. It took less time to do a whole plant than it use to take me for a branch or two. I have tried it for a wet trim so far and it went through like a beast. Next round I may try a dry trim with it. No sticky scissors and the bowl underneath catches all the trim. One thing I can say which should be pretty common sense, but hey this is a review for an herb trimmer sooo here goes, the blades are super sharp. I brushed up against the spare blade unpacking it and it will cut you be mindful of that when you lift the screen off the bottom to access the bowl also In conclusion would I buy it again? This works really well. It made a 20-25 hour trim job turn into a 6 hour job. I used it after drying. Check out the quality on some of the buds.

Works great. This is a real time saver. Only complaint is trying to find replacement blades for a 13 inch trimmer is impossible to find. My recommendation is to get a 16 inch as that seems like the perfect size.

Made harvest time a breeze - last year it took me 3 days over the course of several hours each day to sit down and trim six plants. This year it took two hours, one day and I was done. The end product was clean, easy to package up and store! The only complaint I could possibly have, and this is kind of on me, is that the blade got gunky and when I went to clean it, I used rubbing alcohol to wipe down all the surfaces including the blade. During this process I cut the ever living heck out of my finger even though I was careful. Be cautious when you proceed to cleanup. ... show more

But it’s not. You get the big and the bowl is dented from shipping. Who’s fault, I don’t care it’s not my fault and I’m the one who paid. Ok open the instructions and it’s an operators manual and does not explain assembly. Why that matters? Because the way the handle and arm connect to the mechanism is unintuitive. They provide a socket, like for a socket wrench, and you are supposed to know that it screws onto the dome. But you can’t know that because it’s missing the washer completely and the screw has almost gotten lost but is still in the box loose free as a bird. So you look at the parts you have, before finding the screw, and you think well I must have to take this weird hexagon price of metal off the handle in order to screw it on to the done…. Won’t come off now I’ve stripped the screw. So I’ll use my grinder on it, this thing is now winning. So you get it all apart and then find the screw meant to attach the socket, where that weird piece of metal would have sat and engaged toque to turn the place and rubber brushes, but the metal thing is GONE so you have to just screw the metal thing back on but remember we used the grinder to get it off so it doesn’t really go back. Now you have a $70 piece of junk that would have been awesome if there was TWO LINES on assembly instructions and a good job was done securing the screw and washer in the packaging.
