I’m using this for an oddball assignment. I have a diesel heater that is sitting on a higher shelf. I am using it to suck diesel out of a gas can and up into the tank of the heater. These pumps are usually meant to push, not suck, but it seems to be working great so far. I have no idea how the long term will work with diesel vs gas. It it is definitely getting used less than if it were installed in a daily driver car type setup. I have used it a half dozen times but as it warms up, it will sit for probably 6-9 months before being called upon again. ... show more

Everything works great except they have a female T connector on the motor harness and do not include a male connector to connect to it so you have to cut the female t connector off the harness and use Butt Connectors to wire it.

Bought it, tested it, cut the new hoses to size, hooked it up, worked for less than a minute and died. Power tested ok. Pump clicks but doesn’t run pump. Tried to get refund but they want me to send back pump that now has gas in it and hoses that have been cut and gas filters that have gas in them. That is ridiculous. ... show more

This thing is awesome! I needed to drain the gas out of my 5 gallon Harley fuel tank and tried the gravity siphoning method, and a couple "bulb" type siphons with no great result. I used my jumper box to power this pump, just attached a couple electrical crimp on terminals I had lying around, and used the cables themselves to power the pump. Worked like a charm. If you're going to try this method, just be sure the cables are not lying on the ground in case the hose jumps out of the gas can you're filling into and dumps gasoline onto the ground (neither confirming nor denying this happening). Once I found the correct container and hose, I just hooked red to pos. and black to neg. and turned the power on. Siphoning took just a couple minutes. I probably won't need to use this again for a while, but for the low cost of this, it worked better than I expected. Great product! ... show more

I install it on my John Deer riding lawnmower. 1st one lasted about 8 years. Stock vacuum fuel pumps are the worse and this is way cheaper and work really great. I live in the country and use my riding lawnmower with a small tilt trailer for so often if it's not up and running it's a problem. Would buy product again without a thought. ... show more
