I got this angle grinder to cut up steel that I use in various projects. It works fine but I would not expect it to be useful for big projects, partially because of the small wheel size and partially because of the small battery size. The construction is decent but not as heavy duty as the larger and higher quality ones. Changing the wheels is simple: lock the wheel with the lock and unscrew the center screw (make sure to remove the washer that holds onto the center of the wheel, mine required a little finessing to get it off). Place the wheel on the arbor and replace the washer and screw. After tightening the screw it is ready to go, make sure to disengage the wheel lock. Operation is simple, after installing a battery, push the switch up and in to lock it in the on position to allow continuous use or hold it up to have more control. Hold the wheel against the material to be ground or cut but DO NOT PUT PRESSURE ON THE WHEEL ! Too much pressure can cause the wheel to explode and that would not be an ideal situation. I used the included cutoff wheel to cut a half inch, hardened steel, bolt off. It took a few minutes to cut completely through but it did well. The speed is limited to one so there's no way to adjust for various materials or use cases. I was able to cause the wheel to stop at one point which shut off the grinder completely. After turning it off and then turning it back on and it started right back up, so there must be an automatic breaker in the device. For simple projects and moderate use cases this grinder should work well. It is not close to professional grade and barely fits the needs of the hobbyist but in a pinch it works well enough and could be useful if a sudden need arose.

This little grinder is a lot of tool for the price. It seemed fairly powerful for its size, felt reasonably well made, and came with a good starter selection of wheels for cutting, grinding, and sanding. I would look at this more as a great value for a home user than as a heavy-duty professional tool. For someone who only needs an angle grinder occasionally, it seems like a smart buy. Overall, it feels like a capable, versatile little tool that gives you a lot for the money.

This 12V cordless angle grinder adds massive utility to a DIY workshop simply through its cord-free convenience. While a traditional corded grinder is incredibly useful, it can also be one of the most dangerous and restrictive tools in the garage. Not being tethered to a wall outlet makes quick cuts and tight-space adjustments effortless. While heavy-duty grinding or sustained metal fabrication jobs still absolutely demand a high-powered corded tool, this compact cordless model easily handles about 70 percent of everyday DIY tasks. If you push it hard into heavy sanding or deep grinding, you can definitely bog the motor down, but that is completely to be expected for a compact, battery-powered tool of this size. The major drawback to this otherwise useful tool is the poorly designed wheel-change system, which is a frustrating letdown. First, it forces you to use an external hex key just to swap out discs, and there is nothing worse than needing to hunt down a separate tool just to operate your primary tool. Second, the spindle lock mechanism is awkward to engage and is covered by a cheap, breakable plastic ring that feels like the first component that will snap after a few rough project sessions. Neither of these engineering choices matches the modern convenience of the rest of the tool. Despite the clunky wheel-change setup, the sheer convenience of being able to grab the grinder and instantly slice through a bolt or prep a surface without dragging out a heavy extension cord makes it a highly valuable asset. It effectively balances safety and accessibility for light-to-medium garage projects, making it a worthwhile addition to a DIY kit as long as you don't mind keeping a hex key close at hand.

This is a very versatile tool due to is small form factor. Because it’s so small it give added functionality to get into tight spaces. The included accessories had several blades all of which were good quality and material with had sharp blades that cut well and were durable. The value for money is great as you get two batteries that last a long time and provide good power and duration.

My only issue is out of the box the sticker that covers the indicator lights was barely on and crooked. That made mea bit hesitant to use this grinder but after I repositioned the sticker I gave it a try and was surprised to find it works really well! We tested it on some tool grade steel and it ground it down without issue. Its pretty strong and while grinding it did not slow even when pushing with significant force. It’s easy to use and change grinding wheels. You can adjust the safety guard to any angle however you have to unscrew it completely and then screw it back in while making sure you don’t put the screws in crooked. Happy that it came with two batteries (however the batteries do charge pretty quick and last awhile) and several grinding wheels and polishing wheel. I just wish it came with a case of some sort. For $35 dollars its a good deal and does the jobs you need a battery operated mini grinder.
