Replaced a group 41 lead acid battery in an old 1990 VW 16 valve Jetta GLI. Fit in the battery tray better than the old battery. Plugged right in, car started right up. I think as old lead acid batteries fail in my other cars, I will go lithium in those too.

The battery performance has been solid so far. In my V8 Miata with a small racing alternator, I’ve seen a significant shift in charging dynamics. While my previous setup averaged in the low 13V range, this lithium battery is hitting 14.8V on cold start and averaging 13.9V–14.4V after warmup. I'm concerned the voltage has risen enough to potentially trigger the BMS 'protect mode.' Given the lower internal resistance of lithium compared to AGM, the charging behavior is definitely different. I’m still weighing whether to stick with it or revert to an AGM due to these complexities, but for now, it is performing well. Be sure to watch your voltages closely.

I am a little reluctant to review a car battery right after purchase, as working life is among the most important attributes of a battery. However, as electric vehicle 12 volt battery replacements are pretty new, I will review it. The physical installation was simple. Then, following the instructions, I started the car briefly, shut it down, and restarted it. Apparently this resets the onboard computer. Everything worked fine after installation. Unlike ICE vehicles, which provide constant charging as required for the 12 volt battery, electric vehicle 12 volt batteries work more like a deep cycle battery. Therefore, when shopping, I was a little frustrated that the specifications did not include an amp hour rating. I was replacing the original equipment 60 amp hour battery. It would have been nice to have that data. However, it has been two weeks now, and I have had no issues, so I will assume for the time being that the amp hour capacity is adequate to replace a 60 AH battery. I will update if I find that necessary.

Ordered for my 2015 VW GTI that called for a group 48 size battery. 47 is slightly smaller with less CCA. Fit great! Super cool looking in its high gloss super smooth black color! Looks high end without the cost! Weighed 12lbs and cranks car with no effort! Only battery ill be buying again in the future!

Awesome battery to replace the old heavy lead acid. Runs and charges from the alternator great. I had to trim my connector a bit and add a piece of wire so that the clamp tightened enough but other than that it was an easy install

Installed in a 2016 rogue which takes a group 35 battery. I knew this would fit but be shorter. Starts car like normal. Battery runs at 14.1-14.2 while running and sits typically low 13v range when off. Way higher than the lead acid battery. Will probably buy the bigger h6 group 48 for wife’s car if no issues.
