    • Does not seem to cover the needs for my ION Sport XL portable
Size: 12V 7Ah
I purchased this battery and let it charge for a solid 2+ days. It worked fine the first week or so with a 12+ hour charge in between and 2 plus days on our weekends. We use the battery in our ION Sport XL portable speaker. On max sound and base we should see at least 20 hours of continuous battery use. The most we ever do is 10 hours during one or two days in a week, but normally about 6 or 7 hours. Last week we noticed the speaker was not making it to 7 hours and that quick dropped to 4 or 5 hours. Mind you this is with the volume set a 25% or less with the base turned off. That should have allowed for 60+ hours of run time. I went to a local battery shop and purchased another battery because we had to have the speaker for our shop. I charged the battery for one hour as per the sale person and have had no issues with the speaker suddenly shutting off when on battery power since. ... show more
