I installed two of these in a 600 watt solar power setup for a friend of mine. They work great and are much easier to wire together than four batteries. The performance seems slightly better than the four 100 amp hour batteries of the same brand I have hooked together in my own setup. They are certainly easier to wire when you just have two. Notes: They are super heavy. The terminal screws are only long enough to connect two wire lugs onto. Fortunately that was enough. The terminal placement is better suited for a 24 volt serial setup, but I made it work with two in parallel for 12 volt. I didn't much care for the fact I had to cross the cables though. So, just make sure you use adequately insulated battery cables or figure out a better way to wire these in parallel.

The shipping package was extremely inadequate, I received my batteries in torn and broken packaging and there was damage to the batteries do to poor handling, they seem to work but I would not recommend purchasing thru this company.

These are great batteries! They’re pretty heavy (115 lbs each) so, unless you do CrossFit, get a friend to help you mount them! I do wish the terminal bolts were a little longer, I used 1/0 cable to bank them and the only cable terminals I could get were a little thicker and it was really hard to get the bolt to thread through more than one of them. I got it, but another 1/2” would have really helped.

I have a 26 of these, and regret my purchase. 10 of these batteries failed within 8 months. They sulfate almost instantly, especially in a solar application. I think they were sulfated when I recieved them, but how would I know until i started using them? I talked to mighty max customer service about the problems i was having, it was like pulling teeth to get a reply. They are not at all helpful, and will (and did) use every and any excuse to not honor their warranty. It says in their online warranty they dont cover sulfation, but when the ship them already sulfated.... These mighty max batteries are not worth the money or hassle. I switched to Renogy batteries and am quite pleased with them.

These batteries are great. I ran my TV for about 10 hours over the weekend before i hooked up my solar panels to them. No Problems with the batteries. 15 months later these batteries are going strong at the farm. They have been in the barn since I bought them and lived up to the Texas heat. I am already planning my next purchase of these batteries for my RV.
