We purchased this table based on the photos and description, which made it appear larger, sturdier, and easy to assemble. Unfortunately, the actual product did not meet those expectations and presented additional issues once fully assembled. The thickness of table is not what is shown in picture and it is not a single piece.. It is very thin wood and then to hide, it is covered with another L shaped siding wood from all side to show it as one single piece.. The table is not suitable for 6–8 people as suggested. While several chairs can fit around it, only four people can sit comfortably because the table legs interfere with seating and legroom. I never expected legroom to be an issue within a dining table...it a big design Issue. In addition, the edges of both the table corner and the table legs are quite sharp (please see the attached photos). If you extend the table and stretch your leg, you will be hit with extended handle We shop on Amazon frequently and have generally had positive experiences, which is why we felt confident making this purchase. However, this experience highlights the importance of ensuring that third-party sellers provide accurate product descriptions and images. The listing photos make the table and chairs appear much larger, sturdier, and of higher quality than they actually are after assembly. Chair assembly also took significantly longer than expected. In addition, we paid $199 for shipping and are now being asked to cover return shipping costs as well. Considering the time and effort required to assemble and potentially dismantle the table, this has been especially frustrating. Overall, the product does not accurately reflect the listing and did not meet our expectations in terms of size, quality, functionality, or ease of assembly. We would not recommend it to buyers looking for a table that can comfortably seat more than four people. ... show more

Giving 0 stars falsely advertised how many people it can accommodate. Chairs holes were misaligned terrible so couldn’t build it. Assembly was not easy took 3 hours and until recently they had no videos of assembly. Customer service for return was rude, not reasonable, all around terrible and not understanding. And because it’s a third party Amazon could barely help with a refund. I could either keep everything and they give me $50 which was a joke or spend money on returning everything which I got quoted before them weighing it $340. And have to dissemble and buy boxes. Oh and you can’t push the chairs all the way which apparently they wrote to me saying it’s not meant to be pushed in for storage. Different chairs could possibly accommodate this table better.one star because it’s a pretty set ... show more

The chairs are great. Sturdy, quite comfortable, great appearance, easy assembly. The table assembly was fine but the material it is constructed of is cheap and poor quality. Definitely NOT real wood, nor is it a reasonable mimic of real wood. The saving grace is that I am able to resurface most of the table to correct the cheap appearance ... show more
