Update, 2/18/2026, I had 2 of my 3 batteries fail. Wouldn't charge, after shutting down due to cold weather. The internal bms wouldn't start back up after a cold snap when they warmed up. I didn't want to take the tops off like some online posts had suggested and unplug the bms, because I would think that would void the 5 year warranty. I did disconnect them, tried factory resets and charging them but nothing worked, so I contacted WattCycle support through the Amazon support process. I had to send them photos showing voltage with a meter and a few other things. It took about a month, but they replaced all 3 batteries, sent me return labels to print out. (I recommend you keep the boxes your batteries come in) they paid all shipping costs. There was a lot of communication back and forth and some confusing because I had ordered them in 2 separate orders. Only 2 batteries were bad, but they replaced all 3 because they all had to work in parallel. The battery industry said in the past that batteries in parallel should be all of the same age to better live together. It took a while, however they did honor their warranty. I have reinstalled them in our camper and have found one of them sometimes shuts down to cold when it isn't as cold as the cold shut down setting is set too, but it does restart after it warms up to around 58 F so I will keep an eye on that one. I am still a happy customer, but their tech support needs to work on their English skills both spoken and email, as it is sometimes confusing. If a company does business here in the USA they should be able to communicate well. One thing this taught me was having 3 separate batteries gave me redundancy. We were on a trip and able to keep our diesel heater running on the one working battery. We had to shut some things down to conserve power, but we stayed warm as we were stranded with vehicle issues. The bad batteries just didn't put out any power, and I didn't have to disconnect them for the single one to put out power. I guess in parallel the bad batteries shut down their output relay. For the cost, I still recommend these batteries, as I haven't seen any other brands with no problems or bad reviews on the market, so for now I will stick with these. Original Post, Bought 3 of these and have been very pleased with them. I have them hooked in parallel with same length cables for a simple 12volt camper system. I have feeder cables to my camper buss bar off the center battery and they all seem to perform a little different as far as charge and discharge rate. But in the end the bms units in the 3 work it all out and they do end up delivering a little more than the rated value. I would highly recommend the brand and will probably buy more in the future. I have them running a 2k watt pure sine wave inverter to power fridge, television and microwave in a very small camper. They also supply 12volts for a diesel heater, vent fans, water pump and charging outlets for phones etc.

I couldn’t be happier with my WattCycle Mini 100Ah battery. The performance has been absolutely amazing and it has been a total game changer for my car audio system, LED accessories, and overall electrical setup. I have a total of eight of these batteries, (two batteries in series for 24 volts, and four strings of those paralleled together for 400 amp hours.) They have performed FLAWLESSLY for the last three months through at least 20 cycles. That was, until Wattcyle decided to monkey around with their Bluetooth BMS app. Newer versions of the APP wouldn't connect properly and failed to display the status of the battery. In the process of testing the BMS app to try to see what had been changed and might have caused the issue, one battery out of the entire bank started refusing to connect. I have isolated it, have discovered that the BMS system has suffered some kind of fault. With an incandescent test light across it, there are zero volts across the terminals, and when a power supply that is set to 14.2 volts is connected to it, it shows 14.2 volts on the terminals, however there is ZERO current going into the battery. The BMS has clearly failed. Whether due to a glitch from the APP or what, I don't know. At this point in time, the battery is DEAD and USELESS, and I've lost 1/4 of the watt hour capacity of my battery bank. I have messaged the manufacturer, (on 1-31-2025,) and am waiting for a reply. Update: They are sending me a replacement battery. Changed to Five Stars for good product, and now, good service. October, 2025 Dropping to ONE STAR. It has now been a year, and out of 10 batteries, I have had SIX of them either DIE or have balancing problems. THE BMS in these are JUNK. The BMS locks up and cuts off the battery output. I've managed to reboot the BMS in 5 of these batteries, but one in particular has locked up THREE TIMES NOW. The 'revised' app is CRAPWARE. It won't connect without multiple attempts. I had really high hopes for these batteries as they initially performed VERY WELL. At this point, I CAN NOT RELY ON THEM TO KEEP OPERATING NORMALLY WITHOUT INTERVENTION. Other consumers have actually ordered and installed a BMS board by a different manufacturer that has 2 amp cell balancing capabilities and have had the problems with lockup and cell balancing go away. While this DOES allow the use of the existing cells, the cost of the new BMS (about $70) puts these batteries well up and out of the 'budget' category.

I bought 3 of these to set up in series for a golf cart. They arrived packaged extremely well and all of them arrived with an initial resting voltage of 13.16. I felt that this was good enough that they were even to go ahead and link them in series and charge them with my lithium charger as a bank. So far they have been working great. The only one thing I haven't been happy about is that one of the three batteries discharges at a slightly faster rate than the other two which seem to be spot on with each other. i was hoping all three would be spot on with each other. The one odd ball battery voltage is about .15 volts less than the other two during discharge. I'm not an expert, this may be acceptable, it's just not what I would like to see. However so far the bank is propelling the golf cart around like a banshee and I'm expecting good longevity out of these batteries. The nice thing about running 3 in series is that if any one of the 3 have a problem you're not having to replace the entire unit just the suspect battery. I did contact the manufacturer about the voltage difference of the one battery and was not too impressed with the type of response I got. It was pretty much a sales pitch about how great these batteries are and that there is nothing to worry about because these batteries are the latest technology LIfepo4 batteries .... blah ... blah.. blah... ,,.. SO, I felt the response was a little patronizing and not actually much help. I'm a pretty technical-minded guy so I was hoping for some numbers and technical info to back up what he was saying but I got nothing like that. Anyway, these batteries are still fairly new so I can't give a solid recommendation on longevity and reliability yet, but so far I'm happy and the improvement over the lead acid batteries on the golf cart is pretty amazing. The cart definitely seems to feel the loss of all that weight and scoots around with ease. Remember that you need to discharge Lifepo4 batteries to 60-80% discharged before recharging them in order to get the most lifespan out of them. So you'll need to monitor that somehow either by amp/hr drop or by voltage drop. I chose to purchase 3 volt meters to monitor each battery and charge based on the weakest of the 3 batteries.

First off, the batteries themselves are fantastic so far. Have had two in use for over three months and just picked up two more. Not an issue to speak of other than the following. The reasoning for three stars is the app or apps not working at all. The main, original app to connect to and monitor the batteries was BMS Meta. I am using the Android based app and it no longer functions since the latest update. It is unable to get past the new permissions setup process, which by the way appears to need access to virtually everything you do on your phone. The BMS Meta app was functioning in an acceptable manner in the previous versions. It was very simplistic and basically a status display screen for your batteries, which for my use case was just fine. Better than not working at all. Watt Cycle themselves appear to have started or progressed development on their own in-house battery management app and it is available as "WattCycle by ShenZhen Wattcycle Power Co., Ltd" It actually works pretty well with finding any batteries within Bluetooth range and having far more settings available to configure and adjust. I am unable to comment as to whether all the settings function properly when being used due to not being able to properly test. The one big issue is the individual batteries are very random whether they will connect with the app or not. This Watt Cycle branded app seems to still be in development, so I am hopeful it will improve drastically in the coming months. At least becoming a bit more stable and consistent would be a plus. When either one of the apps functions properly, the overall battery and app combination gets five stars all day. Without a functioning app, you are left with a dumb battery and no way to monitor power levels and other stats unless you buy an additional shunt or battery monitor. So please be aware you may not always be able to access power level info readily at this point. Thanks for reading and best wishes with your power storage journey. These batteries are beasts. I have 2 of the bluetooth 100 amp, running 24v on an 80 lb thrust trolling motor on a 21ft bay boat. I bought these Watt Cycle after comparing many different economically-priced options on amazon and watching videos online that showed this brand to be reputable. Charge them up when you get them. When I received them, one was reading low voltage, but downloading the app and connecting seemed to wake up the BMS and then the voltage was back to normal. After that, charged to full, and installed them on the trolling motor. I used them for 4 hours trolling grass flats on Friday, then again on Saturday for a few more hours (average speed setting 4-5) and then spot locked under the Tampa Bay skyway bridge in high wind and current for ~2 hours. (Average speed setting 7-8). Then while idling with the outboard around a large channel marker, the outboard motor broke down. We were dead in the water far from shore with just the trolling motor and these batteries left. To get out of the wind, current, and waves, we used the trolling motor on speed 10 to travel 1.5 miles to shore to safety. By this point my old lead acid batteries would have been dead and we would have been floating in the middle of a shipping channel. Really glad I had these batteries. They got us to safety while we called a tow boat On top of that, due to shallow water and low tide, the tow boat couldn’t get me into the closest harbor with a boat ramp. They dropped us off at the mouth of the harbor and we trolled another 1/2 mile on speed 8 to get back to the ramp. When we got back home, I checked the charge using the bluetooth, and after the whole day and a half on the water, and running the everloving daylights out of the batteries there was still 40% charge left. (Remembering of course, LiFePO4 batteries can be run down to 10% or lower before the BMS kicks in, unlike traditional lead acid batteries) These batteries never struggle or lose power as the charge drops. Really happy with this purchase. I got them while on sale for $170 each, and it was worth every penny. I’m also glad I got the bluetooth version, as it’s easy to interface with and see state of charge in real time both while charging and while on the water. The batteries are light and the casing feels sturdy and high quality. This is my first go with LiFePO4 batteries, but I would highly recommend Watt Cycle. 10x better than lead acid for a very similar price. Hope this helps someone else who is thinking about making the change.

I received the battery in individual boxes with foam padding all around. I read the instruction manual that came with them. It says they ship with only 50% state of charge (soc), so I connect each of them up to my 15A smart charger and set it to Lifepo4 type battery. The charger output varied between 13-14A and the voltage slowly climbed from13.13v to 14.6 when the charger shut down. The first battery took 3 hours and 46 minutes to charge which equates roughly to about 47 Ah. The second battery charged for 3 hours and 38 minutes or about 46 Ah. This gives me confidence in the 100 Ah rating. Time and usage will tell of the quality and durability, so I’ll update this post later. I plan to use these as trolling batteries in my boat. They’ll be connected in series and see a max current draw of 42A. I like to fish from sun up to sun set with intermittent trolling motor usage and duty cycle, so they will get a work out this season. The batteries look to be of high quality, the bolts are a little short (1/2”) and they give you an extra set of the same length. It would have been nice if the extra set was a 1/4” longer. Note the bolts appear to be made of stainless steel, which is a nice surprise given the trolling motor application. The AGM SLA batteries I’m replacing lasted 8 years, so I’m hoping these will last at least that long. Update 7/21/24: I've used these batteries extensively over the past couple of months. They work great. After a full day of hard use the voltage never dipped below 25V (12.5v each in series). I've drained them down as far as 75% depth of discharge (DoD) and with the 6 amp/bank on-board charger they recharge in about 12 and a half hours. I may upgrade to a 10A/bank on-board charger to reduce the charge time, but so far I'm very happy with the battery performance. Note: I try to charge the batteries fully just before use and keep them at ~50% SoC when storing them. The lower voltage during storage prolongs the life of Lithium batteries (unlike lead acid, which should be stored at full potential).
