I use it to power a 55lb thrust trolling motor to go fishing. First of all, this thing weighs only a third of what a lead acid deep cycle battery weighs. Secondly, it provides constant power for MUCH longer. I literally went 5 miles and there was plenty of power left. The cost was on par with a lead acid battery too, and I didn’t need to pay a core deposit. Make sure you get a charger that works on LiFePo batteries.

Seems to last just as long possibly longer than my old Deep Cycle battery at about 1/2 the size and weight. Since it's so much smaller, I'm considering buying another one and upgrading to a 24v trolling motor b/c i have the space for two of these. Lithium Ion Batteries do require a Lithium Ion specific charger though, don't try and charge this with your old Deep Cycle Lead-Acid charger unless it also has a Lithium mode setting on it.

I bought this batter for my 12 foot jon boat and tolling motor. It was packaged great upon receiving, took a few hours to fully charge it. Been using it with no issues so far. Like how lightweight it is compared to others.
