My German Shepherd dogs are fussy but they love these chicken wrapped pumpkin biscuits. And the pumpkin is good for their stomachs. Only probably I have is they go so fast. I even hide them to last longer.

I have a 15 year old Boston Terrier/Jack Russell mix, and he had, or is having a heck of a time trying to chew into these biscuits. According to the expiration date on the bottom, they're not expired, but they have to be stale. They're so hard, I can't even snap them in half. I ended up getting the treat wet, and I'll put it by his dish. A while later - usually when the cat starts sniffing around lol, he'll go get it, and it's significantly softer. Then the chicken is more like jerky, and the bisquit is soft on the outside, and crunchy on the inside. I have a picture included of one in my hand, and they are a really good size. These don't have any smell at all. Another reason I think these were stale. I really like this container, it holds a good bit. You get a decent amount for your money. But, I'd rather have better quality, and either a different container, or a little bit less in the container. Too much trouble to get him to take a treat, so I won't be repurchasing. EDITED TO ADD: The company reached out to see how they could make things right, they sent my pup some treats that were sweet potatoes wrapped with chicken, and he absolutely loves them! I definitely will be repurchasing! Thank you! (I purchased these treats with my own money, not as a vine reviewer). ... show more

My Chihuahua loves them & she is picky!💕 The biscuit is hard & the chicken seems fresh & easy to eat. I honestly believe My Annie love the firmness of the pumpkin "rod" crispness. Great treat for dogs, especially good for their teeth too. The price is a little bit expensive, but that part is what it is. I stopped getting the chicken wrap sweet potatoes, because it seemed that they started looking not so fresh & darker than they should be. But! Buy these. Oh, & as far the size... Our husky akita mix is a very picker eater, so finding food or treats for her that she will eat, and keep eating, is a challenge. She loves these and has been eating them for about a year now! She is getting on in years so these are also soft enough to not break teeth. Not the cheapest treats, and at the rate she eats them they go quickly, but would say they are worth the money and I believe the ingredients are good quality and made in the USA, with USA ingredients. ... show more
