These are the same brand as some blackout fabric I bought to block my windows. They work fine and will give you better coverage/anchoring. I took off a star because the photos are very deceptive. As another reviewer stated, they appear to be a shiny silvery color. That is actually the white adhesive you are seeing in the photos, I guess, because the discs themselves are black, very thin, and all scratched up.     • Convenient but Needs Stronger Adhesive
Application: They are easy to apply, though using them for curtains, the adhesive could be stronger. Usage: I use these to close our curtains and had to use additional adhesive to keep them in place. Overall: They get the job done.
