I'm 70 and this was my first mini-split. The directions are almost nonexistent , but wiring diagram under power hook up gives all you need to know for hooking up supplied power lines that already had all the proper ends. I vacuumed down lines and turned on. Works great. Included some unexpected extras such as putty for wall, wrapping tape, connection shields, exterior wall hole shield. Lines are short (about 10') but are fine. Cools my sun room here in south Texas just great where 8K window unit was unable and now have the bonus of heat. Great value...

Why Pay $1000+++ when you get identical unit for 1/4 the cost. So i looked into the MR COOL Do It Yourself systems. They recommended an 8k unit. The unit alone was $1760.00 including shipping, then the line cover kit $179, and the exterior mounting bracket another $109 - over $2400 after tax and shipping. My HVAC guy recommended these units saying "The only difference between these and MR COOL is a $1000.00 decal that says MR COOL" I must advise anyone purchasing one that the exterior line cover kit here on Amazon is $31.00 and the exterior unit wall mount bracket was also $31.00 - also purchased 60 feet of 12/2 direct buriable romex (which you likely will not need - it comes with a 20 foot power line. The instructions are really for HVAC people and dont help much with site surveying and install details, but i found them sufficient. The exterior unit is pre-charged with 20 oz or so of R32 which is readily available and inexpensive. The lines are charged with possibly propane and sealed to ensure no contaminants can get it *HOOK LINES UP LAST* I sited my unit middlr of dining room aimed down hallway to Bathroom, bedrm, Living room - we put the inside unit up and centered it to the opposing wall doorway for ideal airflow to other rooms, and sited the external unit so all 10 feet of lineset was used to ensure no leftover coils. We mounted the outside unit and hooked comm wires and power wires, then both copper lines after venting the gas from them. I ensured both lines were leak free, then released the R32 from the small side first cracking the opposite large line for a moment to release air from lines, then opened that sides valve as well. We then installed the exterior line cover kit, i wired to 120V AC and cleaned up the leftover debris. After a 45 min wait i energized the system and hit the Turbo button. Within 10 seconds cold air was blowing out - 30Β° on an 85Β° day in the sun. We ran it thru the settings and it is impressive - its nearly silent and i get to free up 2 main windows of the LOUD and ANNOYING window rattling window ac units! That alone gives me more light and fresh air on nice days having windows not plugged or blocked by window units - and the endless noise and the crazy electric bills those power hungry window units are no more!! The Nexaro 12.000 BTU heat pump is a no brainer - i had one issue and contacted customer service who responded immediately - problem was immediately resolved. AC shows 30Β° on 85Β° temp day, it has dehumidify, timers and Turbo modes and even the typical auto closing and auto waving floor-to-ceiling vent oscilation like most units - the remote works 25 feet or more away and the interior and exterior units are pretty quiet even on Turbo cool, and on low you only know its on because it shows temp and the louver is open. The Heat pump will do most areas justice to take the humidity and chill out of the air - itll put 100Β°+ dried hot air out above 0Β° F, below 0Β° they do lose capacity - Im near Ontario, Canada and Buffalo NY - i expect the heat pump will be mostly usable for spot heating or knocking the chill off on a cold day, Not as a whole area heating solution in the dead of winter - it may not produce enough heat in late Jan/Feb during the coldest months with wind chills dipping well below 0Β° so I cant say the Northeast should think these would be a full time heating solution in the NorthEast - YMMV. Overall we saved approx $1700 over the MR COOL units - for the exact same thing. Best part is - unlike 90% of these units with huge weird unpronounceable brand name stickers plastered all over the exterior units - these units have NO BRAND NAME anywhere on them - the only decals are the EPA/Efficiency label and typical unit spec labels. My HVAC guy was impressed by the price and most of all quality - he cant see any reason why these wouldnt last 8-10 or even 12 years, more than average lifespan before the units technology or refrigerant become obsolete/outdated or start failing due to inevitable electronics parts wear and failures from heat/cool cycling like any home appliance... He did recommend a $79 annual (Spring) test and tune to ensure clean coils, leak detection/recharge and general overall heath of the unit. 5 stars is 100% warranted considering these are so much cheaper than just a few seasons back and are literally DIY plug and play pre-charged units that anyone relatively handy should be able to install in 4 hours or less - with help to place the exterior unit on the exterior mount.

I donβt generally do reviews but I have to on this company one of the better ones. I been putting in the Nexaro 12000btu 120 I think put in 6 so far for other people. The last one put it in. Vac the lines hookup everything and didnβt work check power all good. So got a hold of them want me to check a few things which I did still no go. So got back to them told them what I did so in a few hrs got email back saying that they was sending a whole new unit out. Have to respect a company that does that. Without jumping through hoops. And yes the mini spilt are great unit quiet and performance is great. Iβm not best at this typing stuff so. Great unit one of the better units I put in for the cost.

When I received mine and hooked it up. It was empty of R32 refrigerant. But I contacted the seller they got back with me the next day. Asked me if I did this or that and I said yes. I'm a HVAC guy myself. And have installed many of these. The seller wasn't hesitant at all and said they would send me a new one. And 4 days later I received it. To me that is very awesome business. 2 thumbs up for this company. And also the mini split works great gets very cold and very hot. Great product. Highly recommend.

Specifically asked how long the connecting copper lines are, and was told the cooling unit and fan unit could be a max of 16 feet apart. Very hard to achieve with 10 foot lines. Had to order seperate line package at $240 to reach.

These people are amazing. The best customer service I have EVER had and I'm a Google top 5% reviewer...... Whilst their customer support is 5 stars I must include the downside..... I'll rate them based off the following scale; 1 being great 5 being bad Value for money : 3. Installation : 1 Cooling performance : 2 Noise level : 1 Instructions : 1 Overall quality : 3. Installation was incredibly easy. Instructions were clear as day, and their write up if you have issues made this one of the easiest installations of my life. However, we went through four(4) ground units because one stopped working, the other had an electrical issue (was buzzing when powered), the 3rd didn't seem to do anything, we plugged it in and never turned on, power was verified but never turned itself on(power was on to the upper unit). The 4th we received did seem to work, however the airflow for AC is not enough to cool a standard living room in a trailer and the heat it pumps out wasn't enough for a living room either. I feel these units would be spectacular in a office or something but not as a main unit cooling or heating your house. After all the issues we ran into we ultimately decided to return units for our money back, I've had these units sitting in my house upwards of 8 months (lost them during moving) and once we found them I asked if I could get my money back because they just weren't working how I pictured they would(and my step dad didn't install the second one even after paying him to...) they gave me the shipping labels next day, apologized for them not working correctly AND issued a FULL refund. Even after the 90 guarantee. So, regardless if they didn't work how I wanted them to, these guys are a 5 star customer service. Again from the bottom of my heart, thank you guys. You're amazing.

If you have a sun room that gets too warm or cold to enjoy year round this is The Perfect answer. Cost was far less than we were expecting to pay, as a matter of fact our budget for one covered this and left us enough cash to purchase a higher cost one if this did not work out. I am happy to say this exceeded all of our expectations. Our room is 16Γ20 and glass on 3 sides, of course they happen to east, south and west, so all the hot sun in the summer and the ice cold lake winds in the winter. My husband has some experience in hvac so he decided to self install. The only thing he purchased was the square tubing in the corner because he hates seeing the tubing and wires (I will admit I am glad he did). It was delivered in 2 boxes a day apart, the manual was, thankfully in the 1st box. He was able to read it and purchase the parts he wanted before the 2nd box showed up. This gave him time to make a game plan. When it was go time I was on standby but his game plan went without a hitch, he credits the manual for the straight forwad directions. I am just thankful my assistance was not needed and nary a curse word was uttered, no tools were thrown etc. Now the very very best ~ on a high humidity, 94Β° sunny day it took less than 3 minutes to get the sunroom from 97 to 75. I have included a short video of the noise, what little there is, we do not need to turn up the TV or raise our voices. The same with the outside unit, until you are right on top of it you can't hear it (I only wish the central AC was the same.) A few weeks ago we have night time thunderstorms and big temp drop. Just like the cold air, it took little time to get rid of the cold damp feel. I am not going to set myself up for disappointment and hope for a toasty 80Β° in January during a lake effect snowstorm, but I am confident it will be enough for me to enjoy a cup of morning coffee and watch the squirrels.
