This set of four Torpedo Levels is surprisingly good for the price. They are very easy to read and work well enough for many projects around the home, such as if leveling a picture frame, leveling a shelving installation, or whatever you need to check for level. They are lightweight and won't be a burden to carry around in your toolbox, bag, or pocket. I have provided some side-by-side photos of all four levels on a known level surface, and as you can see, there is a slight variance among them for the horizontal level, but not enough to make any of them useless. I also tested the vertical levels and found all four performed extremely well, and consistent with each other. The magnet in the base holds very well, and I am quite pleased with them. Being made of plastic, their durability may suffer if they are tossed into toolboxes or buckets, but with some reasonable care, they should hold up well. All in all, these levels are indeed, on the level!

These levels are light and the bubbles large and easy to read. The price is good - you get four so you can misplace one or two and still have two or three to use. I dropped one to a concrete surface. It survived without damage and the bubbles of the dropped level matched the other levels I have. Loses two stars because the magnet is weak (it slid a little o a steel shelf) and the groove to center the level on a round surface is too shallow to be effective.
