I'm a DIYer, and this 12000BTU mini split AC with heat pump was a pleasure to install. The process was smooth-connecting the refrigerant lines, communication wires, vacuum and checking for leaks, everything tested perfectly with no issues. The system started right up, providing strong cooling and heating performance. It runs very quietly, even in sleep mode, and keeps the room comfortable throughout the night. The media could not be loaded. Parts are flimsy and the indoor unit does not lock into the tabs at the bottom no matter how well your lines are tucked in. Can’t press too hard on it because it feels like the cheap plastic is going to crack. I have not connected the power yet but I shall update this review based on performance once I do. Update: Finally got the unit connected, vacuum done, and it seems to be running well, and it cools the room fast enough. I wish I had noticed that it does not have Wi-Fi capability but I can deal with that. Did not test the heat pump so I may upgrade my review again later on. I can't comment on longevity since it has been run for only a couple of days. I had a bit of an issue trying to keep the inside unit in place but I solved it with two L-clips from the local home improvement store and was able to attach it securely to the wall. Otherwise the unit looks good once is installed. Over all not a bad unit for the price so far. ... show more

Just installed today. Super easy and everything needed (minus a vacuum pump and gauges) was included. Immediately blowing super cold air and runs very quiet both outside and inside. Not as heavy and robust as some Mr. Cools or Mitsubishis I have installed but that's not really the point of a 1 ton unit. Runs great. Very quiet. One complaint. The line set is VERY cheap. I haven't kinked a line set in well over 20 years and even with a bender on a 10' line, I kinked it twice.
