As an amateur projector collector, I’ve tried quite a few projectors over the years, and this one genuinely impressed me. I have the projector mounted above my bed, and because it occasionally shifts, it automatically readjusts itself without me having to fiddle with settings every time. It's honestly a game-changer. The picture quality is outstanding, especially at this price point. The image is bright, vibrant, and sharp, and I was surprised by how well it performs even during the daytime. Movies, TV shows, and sports all look fantastic. One unexpected bonus is that my family has been so impressed with it that several of them are already talking about getting one for themselves. That's probably the best endorsement I can give. I'm also really excited to use it outdoors this summer for backyard movie nights. This projector exceeded my expectations. Having a projector in the house that we can set up anywhere to watch a movie has been one of my kids new favorite activities this summer. The unboxing experience was very simple and pleasing. Once you pull the projector out and plug it in you are ready to go.The projectors design makes it so simple to use. I’ve been impressed with this projector. Setup was simple, especially with the auto focus and keystone correction. Within minutes I had a clear picture on the screen without messing around with settings. The brightness is good too. A lot of projectors look good only in a completely dark room, but this one still looks surprisingly good with some ambient light. Picture quality for movies and streaming has been surprisingly sharp and clean. One thing I really liked is having Netflix and YouTube built right into the system instead of needing extra streaming sticks or devices hanging off the side. The menus were simple to figure out quickly. The built-in speakers are way better than I expected for a projector this size. I’ll may still connect external speakers sometimes for movie nights, but for casual watching they do a great job. ... show more

I’m seriously impressed with this projector. The picture clarity is outstanding—super sharp and vibrant, even on a large screen. It’s easily one of the clearest projectors I’ve owned. The sound quality also blew me away. It gets way louder than other projectors I’ve used, and actually fills the room without needing external speakers. One of my favorite features is the two HDMI ports. It makes it so convenient to keep multiple gaming systems hooked up without constantly swapping cables. Update: I have already returned the item For somebody trying to do the same it may still work, please be advised what the seller suggested Regarding the connection problem, please follow these steps to ensure proper setup: Use the Correct HDMI Port – Only HDMI 1 on the X9 projector supports ARC (Audio Return Channel), while HDMI 2 does not. Please make sure to connect your home theater system to the HDMI 1 port. Reference: ....... Check if the Home Theater System Supports ARC – Normally, when an ARC-compatible home theater system is connected via HDMI, audio should output automatically. However, some devices, such as soundbars, may require manual selection of the HDMI mode in their settings. If there is no sound, please check the home theater system’s settings and set it to HDMI input mode. Verify HDMI Cable and Device Compatibility – Ensure that both your home theater system and HDMI cable meet the ARC standard. Only devices and cables that comply with HDMI 1.4, 2.0, or 2.1 support ARC functionality. Older standards like HDMI 1.3 or below do not support ARC. If necessary, check your home theater system’s manual or your HDMI cable’s specifications to confirm compatibility. Original review it is Ok on screens below 100 " received mine today. Looks like a well build and nice color. we have older TOPTRO TR 82 and it works fine, except it has got a blue spot after years of use. Current setup: Fire TV inserted into soundbar and then HDMI cable from Soundbar to projector. THe screen size is 150 inches. No issue, no pixels. Today we tried TOPTRO X9 (in has two HDMI ports and claims to support ARC) just unplugged old projector and plugged in the same HDMI. Tried port1 and POrt2. No signal. Then attached FireTV directly to the porjector. That worked, but - on 150 inches the picture is pixeled (similar to another smaller $50 TOTPRo we use outdorr for Halloween decorations) - internal audio is good enough, but passing sound to the external soundbad on HDMI ARC did not work - there is no optical output - i did no t even tried Bluetooth or minijack connection, it wil lbe a lot of sound loss even if it is worked Returning ... show more

This is going to be a semi-detailed review, so the too long don't read version is it's a really great projector with simple buttons, an easy interface, and a very bright and vibrant projection, and I really think that if you're in the market for a projector you could really go for this with very little to no issues. For some added detail, there are a few things that I really like about the projector. The first is the resolution which is going to be 1080p at 60 hertz. I ended up testing and using my PlayStation 5 in order to get an idea of how good some of the images could look and if I was going to see any motion blur. I was pleasantly surprised because I didn't see any, and more importantly, God of War Ragnarok looked absolutely fabulous. In fact, my PlayStation menu, fast-moving objects, and just movies, in general, looked really nice on this projector. The power of the bulb is quite impressive, and that means that you can project a fairly large screen with very good resolution, and I've actually been using it outside on a flat wall that we have in order to entertain large crowds. Right around twilight, it's perfect because the bulb is so bright and it's easy to set up and manage accordingly. I also like that built-in you have Miracast as well as two HDMI ports and VGA, meaning you have a few different options on how you connect to the projector, either wirelessly over Wi-Fi or using a hard connection. There are a ton of different options which is very flexible and I think is very good. The last thing I wanted to note is the audio, which is impressive. For anyone who knows God of War has a beautiful soundtrack, and when playing the game, the music is part of the experience. I was surprised because when I first heard the audio coming out of the projector, I was under the impression it was coming from my sound bar. Obviously, in a larger space with more people, the sound can get dampened a little bit, but for what it's worth it's a great all-around projector that can quite literally be used out of the box, and if you're really interested and take time to set it up just right, this can be an amazing addition to an entertainment suite. ... show more

I ordered a projector on the 26th and the remote has a 10-15 second delay. I have to reconnect to the WiFi every time i turn on the projector. It’s two dark shapes with several black specs on the screen. I had to connect my Roku stick to the projector because of the lag in the remote. I can use a remote app on my Roku but it seems like the projector itself doesn’t have a remote app. There wasn’t an option to replace the projector only to return. So I’m returning the old and purchasing a new one hoping to get a refund. I reached out to the company but nothing as of yet. While i am dissatisfied i also understand that item could just be defective. I will update my review when the new projector arrives. I will say the projector shows crystal clear even in the daytime. ... show more

I live in a cozy condo and have owned several projectors over the years—but my last one was clearly showing its age with a dim bulb and fuzzy focus. This new projector is a total game-changer. Straight out of the box it just works! Setup was a breeze, and tweaking settings was effortless. The standout feature? Auto-focus. Every time I power it on, it automatically checks the wall distance and snaps into crystal-clear focus—like magic. A close second is the built-in Bluetooth connection to my soundbar. I’d wanted this for ages and hated running speaker wires everywhere. There’s a tiny bit of audio lag now and then, but nothing that ruins the experience. The onboard speakers are decent too—slightly tinny, but plenty loud for casual viewing. Noise level? Exactly what you’d expect from electronics like this—quiet enough that it disappears once the movie starts. And now the best part: picture quality. Brightness, clarity, and contrast all blew me away. Blacks look deep, whites pop, and the zoomable screen size is fantastic. I set it up about 10–11 feet from a bright-white wall and the entire image is sharp edge-to-edge—something my old projector never achieved. It’s bright enough to watch during the day even with some natural light streaming through my curtains. The built-in apps are fine for a quick movie night, but I mainly use my PlayStation or computer. Still, I was pleasantly surprised by the included movie app—it even had a solid selection (with ads). Bottom line: Grab this projector! At this price, it’s a stellar value.
