It’s easily one of the clearest projectors I’ve owned. The sound quality also blew me away. It gets way louder than other projectors I’ve used, and actually fills the room without needing external speakers. One of my favorite features is the two HDMI ports. Update: I have already returned the item For somebody trying to do the same it may still work, please be advised what the seller suggested Regarding the connection problem, please follow these steps to ensure proper setup: Use the Correct HDMI Port – Only HDMI 1 on the X9 projector supports ARC (Audio Return Channel), while HDMI 2 does not. Please make sure to connect your home theater system to the HDMI 1 port. Reference: ....... Check if the Home Theater System Supports ARC – Normally, when an ARC-compatible home theater system is connected via HDMI, audio should output automatically. However, some devices, such as soundbars, may require manual selection of the HDMI mode in their settings. If there is no sound, please check the home theater system’s settings and set it to HDMI input mode. Verify HDMI Cable and Device Compatibility – Ensure that both your home theater system and HDMI cable meet the ARC standard. Only devices and cables that comply with HDMI 1.4, 2.0, or 2.1 support ARC functionality. Older standards like HDMI 1.3 or below do not support ARC. If necessary, check your home theater system’s manual or your HDMI cable’s specifications to confirm compatibility. Original review it is Ok on screens below 100 " received mine today. Looks like a well build and nice color. we have older TOPTRO TR 82 and it works fine, except it has got a blue spot after years of use. Current setup: Fire TV inserted into soundbar and then HDMI cable from Soundbar to projector. THe screen size is 150 inches. No issue, no pixels. Today we tried TOPTRO X9 (in has two HDMI ports and claims to support ARC) just unplugged old projector and plugged in the same HDMI. Tried port1 and POrt2. No signal. Then attached FireTV directly to the porjector. That worked, but - on 150 inches the picture is pixeled (similar to another smaller $50 TOTPRo we use outdorr for Halloween decorations) - internal audio is good enough, but passing sound to the external soundbad on HDMI ARC did not work - there is no optical output - i did no t even tried Bluetooth or minijack connection, it wil lbe a lot of sound loss even if it is worked Returning ... show more
